    Marlins Outbreak

    https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...-virus-spreads

Baseball was fun while it lasted. I can't imagine them having an entire season. Basically, the Marlins would need to call up a AAA team and coaches at this point to even play.

So, they have only canceled games affected by the outbreak. However, this is going to happen off and on for every single team. Are they going to try to reschedule every game? Will the "sick" team forfeit? Will they call the games a draw?

Just seems like a mess. I hope we have a season, because the world could use something positive right now.

I would assume all of those players are out for 3-4 weeks. How many games will the Marlins have to cancel?

They will start back up monday. This is why they have 30 other players to draw from. May not be as good but if you put on a Major league uniform you are a major leaguer. All the teams could end up with this problem.

Phillies v. Blue Jays series is cancelled after a Phillies coach and club personnel test positive.
