No one started the season 3-0. That seems really odd to me.

Marlins, Orioles and Tigers are all 2-1.

Just wait until our junk ball pitchers are figured out and the bullpen gets broken in.

I'm actually hoping for a decent season for Alex Cobb so we can trade him in the final year of his contract, but that's about all the hope i have for our current crop of starters this year. I think Castro and Givens are the only worthwhile bullpen pieces we have currently. Cody Carroll has potential but he couldn't find the plate in the first game.

With him and Verlander both on my fantasy team, it was quite the wonderful day of baseball for me.

More than any other of the big 4 sports, any given game in baseball is more or less a coin flip. Although when flipping 28 different coins 3 in a row, you would expect a few of the coins to be heads 3 times in a row.

Lol Joe Kelly rocketed ball 4 behind Bregman's head then whips the first pitch behind Correa's head/shoulder area 2 batters later.

Benches cleared, but cooler heads prevailed. Glad Correa didn't do something stupid, but I would have enjoyed watching him beat Kelly's ***.

Joe Kelly surprised me 2 yrs ago. Thought for sure Tyler Austin would knock him out cold. Kelly held his own just fine.

Yeah, I just think that's uncalled for. You want to hit a batter or two in the series as a team? I'm good with it—hell, I was expecting it. Don't throw at the head and don't instigate a fight unnecessarily, and I feel like Kelly did both. And the dude did not have a good inning. He walked two batters, his control sucked and the pitch before he struck out Carlos, Correa came 1-2 feet from a scorching double down the third-base line that would have scored two runs. If Carlos doubles there, he's not yelling "Nice pitch, *****" from second base.
