Ugh. I don't understand why the stands cant be empty. It wasn't a big deal with the Orioles in 2015. It's not a big deal in plenty of college football bowl games each year. The fake crowd noise and all of these measures aren't needed.

I love the fake crowd noise. Watching the KBO on silence was weird. At least the fake crowd gives a normal background type noise during the game.

I'm surprised they haven't offered to allow phones to be strapped to those cutouts that people can video call in on to see, hear, and cheer on as if they're there...........or just generate real crowd noise by creating a giant audio Zoom call they can pipe into the stadium.

OK, not surprised....but I rather enjoyed the crowd noise while at the same time being able to hear a lot more of the actual noises and voices of the game. I suppose every stadium is handling all this a bit differently.
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

They can make all the jokes they want. Through two games, there's only one undefeated team left in the AL. You want to take a guess at who it is?

It looks like MLB is using the traditional six-division format for the standings. I thought they were going to do a three-division format (West/Central/East) of 10-teams each, since that is how the schedules have been assembled.

    Future Hall of Shamers:
    (1) B.A.L.C.O. Barroids (2) Mark McJuicer (3) Jose Chem-seco (4) Rafael Palmeiroids (5) Ken Chem-initi (6) Jason Gi-andro (7) Ryan Fraud (8) Muscle Melk (9) Woman-Ram (10) Shammy Sosa (11) Roger Clear-mens (12) A-Roid (13) Ryan HGHoward

Relax. It was funny. Congrats on being 2-0 vs quite possibly the most garbage team in baseball.

Dylan Bundy had a very good start against the Athletics yesterday. With Mickey Callaway coaching him, as well as the left-side defense and Trout in center, we might see him cash in some of that potential. I feel like I make this post every year though, but he's absolutely in a much better situation than Baltimore that much is for sure.
