I'm leaning toward the NFL not playing this year. Seeing as the Power 5 conferences are seriously talking about not playing fall sports this year which includes football. Just because the Power 5 might cancel the 2020 college football season doesn't mean the NFL will. I just think that if the NFL were to play and they experience an outbreak like the MLB is experiencing could seriously put the season in jeopardy. The only reason the NBA and NHL were able to continue their seasons was because of a bubble environment they created. There is no way to create a bubble environment for the NFL.

plus there's no way to have a bubble for college sports, they're not even getting paid, no point in the risk combined with the impossible logistics

NFL will slowly continue to cancel everything week by week until there's literally no other option but to cancel it all.

Pac 12 and Big 10 cancelling Fall sports doesn't bode well for the NFL

maybe they'll have a reverse bubble, let all the asymptomatic players in, that way they can't infect anyone but each other

NFL doesn't equal college at all. NFL players get paid while college players are paid under the table by boosters.

Not to say that because the NCAA is doing one thing that the NFL is going to do the same thing but it certainly affects their decision making, in my opinion. At this point though the season will start and time will only tell whether it is completed without any hiccups.
