No clue who I want to pick here. I'm torn between like 5 guys.

I thought Wade should have gone over Bird, so I'll take him again here. It's between him, Hakeem, Durant and Curry. But I'm also wondering if Kawhi should be considered. He's better defensively than Pippen and can engineer a victory with the best of them. We've seen him take out the Warriors and LeBron. Maybe he's being underrated.

going Magic here. I want to say Dream, but honestly by the time his offense caught up with his defense, that D was fading...

Duncan had like a 7 year peak, and I am trying to vote based on more of a crescent.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

I'd like to see Magic or Dream go here. I get the Wade love, but I honestly think peak Durant and peak Curry were better. Magic and Dream dominated their respective eras at their peaks better than peak Wade did. I'd probably go Hakeem, Magic, Durant, Curry, Duncan, Wade or something like that.

Era definitely plays a role but I canít put curry above Wade when Wade was elite on both sides of the ball and curry only 1. Curry also underperforms on the biggest stage. KD couldnt get it done as the man with a really damn good team multiple times and jumped ship to the 73-9 Warriors, I just canít give him credit for those.

If Iím going to pick someone who I think is the best im going with the guy I know can do it on both ends and will his team to the very top if he has to, we just havenít seen that with Curry and Durant.

I think Duncan is getting a little underrated here.

I'm having trouble finding a reason not to peak Hakeem but it just seems wrong to take him over Duncan.

You're right. Duncan's kind of like Russell in how he doesn't really stand out on individual performance, but is the perfect fulcrum of a team defense and can tactically engineer a victory with the best of them.

He reminds me more of a pulley or a lever
