Much needed day off today, the team is not as fun without Albies and AcuŮa in the lineup, our rotation is pretty bad, we're still in a good spot, but need to improve at both ends.

This team is a mess right now. That said, I think ATL should just try and hold it together but mortgage nothing for the future. This season very well wonít be completed and it would be totally foolish to have made a move for the immediate (that never happens) at the sake of your future.

Even more of a reason to target Lance Lynn IMO. Immediate help and 2021 help.

I agree, he could be for 2021 what Hamels was supposed to be this season.

Call up the young guys whom are closest to MLB ready and see what they have and let them have a chance to develop since there is no minor league baseball this year. Treat it as a modified spring training of sorts. Expecting a playoff run out if a team missing 80% of its rotation is just not plausible, even with more teams making it this year.

I know Fried, Swanson, and especially Freddie will all want to play, but is it worth jeopardizing them for next year after seeing whats happened to the rotation and Albies and AcuŮa?

Shut it down for them and don't risk losing them to a useless season here in 2020. Braves ain't making the playoffs missing 80% of the rotation, so there is no reward to justify the risk.

We are two games up on the next team in the division, clear playoff team. This with guys not hitting and no clear rotation. Hamels will be back at some point just need to find others to pair with him and Fried.

Lynn would be a guy I would consider if he didnít cost a noteworthy prospect.

That'll be the biggest question. There will likely be a lot of suitors for him if he hits the market.

Another positive about Lynn is how cheap he is. Considering the revenue loss for the year, the team may not be able to spend as much next year. Getting Lynn's cheap contract would be huge.

DOB mentioned Lynn and Mike Minor in his column yesterday as potential trade candidates. Also mentioned the Braves may move Matzek or Tomlin to the rotation but their worried about moving either out of their current roles.

I'm losing faith on Touki and Wright, over 100 IP of pure crap between those two, I wouldn't mind if We trade one of them for Lynn.

Itís also a bit unfair because the Marlins are used to playing in front of empty bleachers
