Yeah, if you had told us that the 1st week of the season that Hamels, Folty & Felix would be either injured, DFA'd or not currently on the team, then we would be pretty certain that the rotation would be in trouble.

This team isn't good and the evidence is glaringly obvious.
The biggest holes in the lineup so far are Acuña, Ozzie and Freeman, so I'm not worried about the offense, the strikeouts are a concern but again 52.2K% by Acuña, that won't last. The pitching though, is a different story. The playoffs are basically locked unless something really bad happens, everyone who plays .500 baseball is probably going to make it this year, we need to have in mind that we have faced a WS contender the last two nights, no easy task.

Yeah something tells me he didn't come back just for simply feeling bad, though that probably is PART of it, but I suspect he was missing out on the cash by not playing(as if it would have actually harmed him financially, given how much he's made in his career). Even with the nice guy element, money is always a key factor in pro sports.

Braves blow yet another early scoring opportunity. Freddie hit that ball too hard to give acuña the wave around third imo.

Yeah, bad decision to send him with 4 hitter up and runners 2nd and 3rd one out.

On anothet note, Inciarte is pitiful at the plate. Does he think he is a power hitter? Hit the ball the other way and swing at strikes. A player is not seeing the ball when 3 straight breaking balls start at thigh height and end in dirt and you swing at all 3. Pache can't hit worse. Mayne Folty and Inciarte can return a major league starter that is good

Freddie finally homered and git the braves a 2 run lead. But soroka with some co trol issues in the 5th lead to a walk that scored on the wild pitch and d'arnaud's awful throw.
