Fried, Anderson, and Wright is likely our top 3. Trial by fire for these young guys. God help us if we need a 4th starter.

But if y'all get the Cardinals...it is more or less an easier matchup

Well if you play the Cardinals first round...at least you will make it to the NLDS which is okay

So when the time comes for a 4th starter, who pitches? We know Fried and Anderson will be 1-2. Wright is the likely 3rd starter. I would imagine Tomlin would be the 4th starter. I donít see anybody else we could trust to throw. Tomlin at least can throw strikes. No way should Ynoa or Wilson start. I guess you hope Tomlin goes 3-4 innings and then hand it over to the bullpen. Regardless of how the rotation is set, weíll need to score a lot of runs to have any shot at winning a series.

Doesnít seem like Tommy Milone will even be on the playoff roster. Havenít heard any injury updates on him but he stinks anyway.

I would go Bullpen game, start one of our elite bullpen arms (O'day, Minter, Martin, Smith) depending on which team we face, after the first inning you can go Tomlin for the next two against the middle-bottom of the order, then go again with an elite reliever agaisnt the top of the order and repeat the next inning or two with Ynoa, by that point if everything goes well we might find ourselfs in the 7th and can go with the elite relievers we have left. The key here is to scout the weakness of the team we are facing and choose the relievers that match up well with their best hitters.

If we go a straight bullpen game and start with Tomlin or Ynoa we might be making a mistake, need to get creative.

Do you guys think it depends on how Bryse Wilson does in his next start. I mean his last start he did pretty good, and he is supposed to start again Sunday and if he has another solid start could he be #4 with a very short leash?

I would not go with Wilson no matter How he perform sunday, my strategy of a BP game seems more appealing.

X rays negative for Fried. He's expected to start game 1 on Wednesday.

Anderson was awesome again last night, the Braves played the worst defensive game of the year, can't blame them that much, weather was terrible. I kinda feel good with him pitching game 2.
