its not racist- it is trying not to be divisive. Everyone should be viewed as equal.

It's not trying to "not be divisive". It's trying to make it about you. If you think "All lives matter" then by default you think "Black lives matter" so it shouldn't bother you at all. The fact that you feel the need to answer "Black lives matter" in any way besides saying "I agree" is the problem.

when people like chris newsom and shannon christian are killed- it isnt even a public story because they are white. And they got it a lot worse than George Floyd or Mike Brown. Raped and tortured for 3 days???? yeah their lives matter too.

Saying all lives is not about me- its about everyone. thats what ALL means. Saying black lives matter is implying that nobody elses lives matter as much.

No. Black lives matter is about black lives NOT mattering.

All lives matter is a direct belittlement of the issues, oppression, brutality that blacks experience disproportionately.

    Its common sense.

No, you see it that way because you want to be against it. They say black lives matter because people apparently have to be reminded that they do.

The fact is black people aren't treated as equals though. That's clear by the oppression, brutality, profiling, systemic racism by cops. It's like someone who says they don't see color. Its ignorance.

Definitely not treated equal in a lot of ways. Some not so great, some kind of good. For example- if a black person is caught saying something racially offensive about white people on their social media.... they are far less likely to get backlash (as long as it isnt a direct threat). But you dont see black people losing their jobs, or having their lives threatened for making an inappropriate joke about other races.... like you do whites.

That could have to do with the centuries of unabated racism black people and other minorities have had to deal with (without repercussion mind you) from whites. At the end of the day its not close to an equal playing field.

Let's also not forget that people of color are at a distinct disadvantage in terms of where their ceilings are professionally just based on the color of their skin. Racism still exists on a multitude of levels, some blatant and some unsaid.

Probably not the smartest thing to tweet in the mist of a race riot

Kings literally changed their twitter profile to "#BlackLivesMatter" so it was especially tone deaf for Grant to contradict it.

Webber and Boogie acting like everyone already knew this guy was a racist. Crazy that it goes back to C-Webb.
