    Because you saw... the stats?

But you have no ****ing clue that the Soviets also had Tkatchenko and that they interchanged positions and markers in 86 and that he wasn't the only player guarding him in 88 either.

The stats. You don't know **** about basketball and you base everything on numbers you have no idea of how to read. What a miserable excuse of a "fan".

There are several people here who would mistake a basketball for some big exotic orange fruit but have the audacity to claim that they love this sport or know how to measure greatness because they think it can be done from a box score. Which they cannot even properly read. Exhibit A is the person with the most ironic, trollish nickname on PSD.

I watched the footage of that game as well, but overwhelming stats mean you outplayed someone.

Coming from the guy who says Melo wins more on the Heat then Bron, Iíll take that as a compliment.

    You donít know hoops

    This would suck to beat.

    Payton
    Thompson
    Lebron
    Draymond
    Mutumbo

15 dollars spent. That defense would be brutal.

You have to take an antique era player.

Here's my last team, with the year I'd pluck the player from.

    ē 1995-96 Gary Payton: $2
    ē 2014-15 Klay Thompson: $3
    ē 2012-13 LeBron James $7
    ē 1968-69 Dave Debusschere: $1
    ē 1989-90 Arvydas Sabonis: $2

I don't see how anyone's beating this collection of guys led by peak, world-destroying LeBron. There's not a bad defender on the team. Everyone except DeBusschere has legit range from deep.
My secret weapon is mid-20s Sabonis, who was putting up Anthony Davis-like numbers Europe while shooting 40% from deep. He's tough enough to body up any NBA center. Based on how good a broken-down Sabonis was against even Shaq, it's hard to imagine how devastating he'd be in his prime.
Peak Payton was a genius floor general who had the defensive chops to give even Jordan trouble. I'm also absolutely certain he could learn to shoot threes at a high rate.
Klay at first seems overpriced. But he's so damn efficient, with unlimited range and excellent perimeter defense. Plus I got a guy who can go molten-hot and drop 30 in a quarter on any given night.
DeBusschere's a six-time all-NBA defensive team member. He's got his janitor uniform on, ready to do all the dirty work.
