I never said or suggested police shoot everybody.

the idiotic narrative from the left is the police shoot anyone black, do not shot anyone white. not surprising when they get information/misinformation from left wing media that pushes this narrative that is simply not true. I have contradicted this narrative with examples that yes the police do shot people that are white even in incidents that were not justified.

No one here has ever argued that the cops never unjustly shoot white people, Einstein. Keep arguing with the boogeyman in your head and/or that one person you came across on Twitter.

Some simple questionsÖÖÖÖdo you think police look for opportunities ti shoot black people???

    Or roust black people???

Or put a beat down on black people???

Or go out of their way to give black people a hard time???

Do you think they just go out on patrol with a "let's find some blacks" idea???

the bold from dbroncos78087, not true, which I supported.

1100 cops are on the street just in Florida alone that were fired or quit because of misconduct /disciplinary action. Wonder why you're not getting qualified candidates as cops btw when one of these higher crime counties are offering potential officers 20 bucks an hour. Hmm..
Kind of hard to get good cops with the way they are attacked by the media and people these days.

    Not worth it

Or perhaps because the work attracts a particular type of person that is far more predisposed to do things they shouldn't do like abuse their power. But those people don't want to get caught abusing their power. They just want a quiet time abusing their power out of the spotlight.

A recent poll illustrates the ideological divide between conservatives and others and explains why they are so fiercely resistant to Critical Race Theory.

Essentially, conservatives strongly believe racism is only personal, whereas Liberals (and others) believe it is systemic.

Which is why many conservatives feature the ďI didnít do anything badĒ narrative, conveniently neglecting that much of their lifestyle (including their beloved freedoms) is built on a foundation of systemic inequalities ó racism being chief among them.

Stories like these are tough to see, we need major change in how our justice system/police go about their business. Held for 33 days, no charges for doing anything wrong in the end, weren't wearing clothes in description of actual perpetrators (they did however fit "black male"), still will have this on their record unless they fight it as well (in a state they do not live), no previous criminal records as well.

It's very interesting how many people seemed to switch their opinion when it was just the term used compared to actually giving the definition then asking. If you describe what CRT is in actual words instead of people seeing/hearing just the term (which may be partisan/political as this is getting at) then a majority support teaching the general idea.

Ideological racism IS personal, and historical systemic racism is in the past. I think that is where conservatives are getting that from and that part of the perspective I understand even if I don't entirely hold it myself. The issue is that conservatives look from now forward and think the solution is in equal opportunities in the systems NOW. I think the solution has to have nothing to do with race since it's a 3rd rail but in attacking the main contributing factors in the racially twisted outcomes by making life dramatically easier financially for the bottom half of the population. Of course to do that we'd have to fix the tax collection system (not currently racist) and fix the absurdly broken housing system (not currently racist) we have, and the reality is that the people in power who can make those changes have no interest in making those changes.
