Considering he's trying to make the case for Trump and his bigotry against Mexicans, its not that hard to believe he would be okay with Trump's words in regards to Muslims. Look, not arguing there is a human trafficking problem in South America and Mexico but for the president to say "some are good people" and the rest are criminals or rapists is disgusting. There are extreme fringes to every group of people in this world. That doesn't mean we should just automatically attach them to people who are just trying to find a better life.

When those people are not vetted, you better believe it is best to error on the side of worst case. One bad apple spoils the bunch.

Your take on January 6 is a perfect example.

    Do you mean "err"?

Secondly, there's a big difference between crossing the border in hopes of making a better life for yourself and the reasoning behind those people protesting and rioting at the Capitol. I know context eludes you as always.

And no you don't err on the side of worst case because an overwhelming majority come here to escape an impoverished life. Trump being a racist idiot and trying to score points with his base doesnt give his comments any validity. Nice try at an aha hypocritical dart but I never said all the people who went to Trumps circle jerk on the 6th were anarchists. I'm aware the people who stormed the capitol were the minority.

Sen. Johnson said he wasn’t concerned about the rioters on Jan. 6th but he would have been if they were BLM protestors.

Is this surprising? Considering the small force that was there to protect the Capitol Building during Trump's rally, a lot of people in DC was less fearful of them than if it was a BLM protest. The far-right was their people. Cops have the same attitude.

his wording should be criticized because there should have been concern about rioting January 6th, but if his point was there was worse from the other side, he would be right. more violence, more rioting, more death.

there has been more examples/more stories from rioting from BLM (separate from the protesting) and those that call themselves Antifa.

    Perfecto.

I have you on ignore, but when I saw that you had responded here, I figured it would be to valade16’s post and that it would be a SpecialFNK classic piece of verbal feculence.

Surprise, surprise. I was spot on.

I think everyone makes judgements on people when they have little info to go on. If I see a group of young black men dressed in “thug gear,” I judge them as potentially dangerous. If I see a group of young white men dressed in “biker gear,” I judge them as potentially dangerous. It’s up with those groups to provide me with more information to dispel my prejudgments.

Simarily, if I see police in my rear view mirror, I judge them as wanting to pull me over. If police approach me on the street, I assume there’s been some crime or something and again, assume the worst case scenario. Unlike with a group of young black men or white bikers, it’s the police obligation to dispel any fears someone, especially a kid in the snow, May or may not have about them. In this case though, the police only lived up to any preconceived notions this kid may have had ...

Your prejudgement is your problem. No one should be responsible for how you respond to the way they dress. Really a kid who dresses like a hip-hop gangster has no responsibility for your pre-judgment no more than kids who choose to dress like hippies in the sixties who weren't hippies. Your judgment of others is on you alone.

Too many cops are shooting unarm people because they fear for their life. They judged them on their appearance that they were dangerous. I guess their victim should have explained they aren't a threat before the bullets started flying.

Prejudgement is often wrong and some cases fuel racism.
