    Michigan School Shooter

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/12/02/us/mi...day/index.html

I hope this dude dies…or am I monster for saying that? [emoji1784]

On a more serious note, there’s clearly a gun problem in this country and I’m curious how many cases like this has to happen before something actually changes.

Yeah, that's a problem with you bro.

I hope he is held responsible for his crimes.
This kid is also 15, people aren't fully formed at that age, he needs help. That said, he must be held responsible for the lives he's taken.

    this shooter is disturbed.

like any shooting there are details that are important.

this shooter got the gun from his father who only purchased the gun says before.

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...an/8810814002/
The 9mm pistol the suspect used during the shooting was bought by his father on Black Friday, Nov. 26, according to Bouchard. It was loaded with seven rounds of ammunition when police arrested the suspect.
did the father have to pass a background check.
how did the boy get the gun.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

a person is smart. people are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals.

Doesn't really matter how he got the gun. This is exactly why guns are dangerous. More likely to be used by a loved one/friend or on a loved one/friend than it will ever be used for self defense.

People aren't perfect, guns will be accessible at times, and people that shouldn't have them will get them.

I don't care how safe or trained you are. It's going to happen.

    All perfectly in order.

    — The semi-automatic gun was purchased legally by Crumbley’s father last week, according to investigators.

    — There’s no Michigan law that requires gun owners keep weapons locked away from children.

But this is America, so no real problem here.

EDIT: They even said they were sorry.

Get used to it. It is the new norm where we will have people acting out with guns.

It’s sadly been the norm for a while now. We have to accept that this country has a gun fetish and thus won’t do anything about shootings. We are the only country that has this problem and yet we act like it’s some unsolvable problem.

    lol I don’t care if he’s 15…did you shoot anybody at 15? I for sure didn’t.

**** this kid and **** his family. Wouldn’t waste tax dollars trying to rehabilitate scum.

They have been charging minorities, kids, as adults for decades, and no concern for their age was ever expressed.

It is unsolvable with the mindset we have in this country. We love our guns. We have numerous shows with TV characters with guns solving problems. Shooters video games. We can get a gun with a pink gun grip and assorted accessories to match. Now we can get a belt gun holster that isn't readily noticeable on the streets. The one good guy with a gun myth. We have so many things that enforced that gun culture.

Other countries have access to and watch and play the same video games that we do and don’t go on mass shooting sprees.

Good. The parents were terribly irresponsible in this case.
The shooter has been charged as an adult, but will not receive the maximum sentence due to his age.
