The bowling line was actually from the Breakfast Club though. Bender says “my Dad and your Dad should go bowling”

NYC is the Coolest place to live, it has 4 seasons, it has Bleeker Bobs, the Village, MoMA, Central Park, the best Pizza in the World, the Best Bagels in Brooklyn, beaches, etc.

I also like Austin, it is like the Village but it is effen hot.

I love the twin cities, but the winters are looooooooooooooong.

For me personally, I would love to live in the following cities:

San Diego, CA- just too expensive/far from my family
Fort Collins/Aspen/Telluride, CO- dream state for me
Chicago, IL- close enough to my family, sweet city
NYC- I imagine it would be not as thrilling as I think, but it's the coolest city I have visited in my life

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

I have always wanted to live in California, even if for only a brief period of time. I’ve looked at Torrance a lot, because I have a friend there. It would be a vastly different life from what I’m used to, but that’s the point. I don’t want to look back at some point and say why didn’t I go when I had the opportunity.

California Coast line is 840 miles long, lot of beaches and places to see the ocean from warm to cold.
12 mountain peaks over 14,000 feet tall

Thousands of lakes and rivers to fish, swim, boat.

Over 25 ski resorts, some that are open into July.

Its about 102 degrees today where I am fresh vegetables and fruits and nuts on the way home, picked in the last day, straight to market.

In two hours I am in Yosemite National Park, two hours the other way I am at the Ocean in Monterey, 3 hours the other way and I am at Lake Tahoe, two hours west and I am in San Francisco, 4 hours north and I am at Shasta. 5 Hours south an I am in LA.

13 National parks from the Ocean to the dessert to the top of a 14,000 foot peak

Nothing like monitor pass for an "E" ticket drive, from over 9,000 feet to 4,000 feet drop in half a mile of switchbacks.

There is just so much to do and see, you can't get bored, from urban crowds to solitude in the wilderness, surfing, sailing, water skiing, swimming, motorcycle rides, dune buggies, hiking in the woods or on the ocean, back packing in the Sierra Nevada mountains (about 1100 miles long), gambling at Tahoe on one of the deepest lakes in North America.

From Monitor Pass; just 1 day trip.

Didn't want to quote the whole post, but this was awesome. Thank you! There's a job in Palm Springs that I am really considering applying for. Absolutely beautiful landscape with the dessert and mountains. Just one of those things I feel I need to go for while I'm younger and able to move around.

I'm sure it was super high on people's list prior to the killing and looting.

I mean, if riots and cop brutality against blacks was a factor, Los Angeles would be vacant
