Gore can still play, I just don't think this is the best landing spot for him.
I know the Jets tried to improve that O-Line and WR through the draft, and they did, but I still think those RB's are going to have a tough time finding holes to run through.

Gore said today he chose the Jets over the Raiders who were also offering. I honestly wish I could have seen him under Gruden. Honestly would probably be used more too.

Frank Gore Jr will be at Southern Miss this fall....not that it'll happen, but I wonder if it's ever gotten this close for a father/son combo in the NFL

    The Hochuli's lol

The Ryan's once all coached together, Belichick has his son coaching too. I think this is the closest player wise we've ever come though.

Here's the HOF list of fathers and son's to play in the NFL:

Some of the closest I've found:
    BUDDE
Ed G 1963-1976 Kansas City Chiefs
Brad G 1980-86 Kansas City Chiefs

    METCALF
Terry HB, WR 1973-77 St. Louis Cardinals, 1978-1980 CFL,
    1981 Washington Redskins
Eric HB, WR 1989-1994 Cleveland Browns, 1995-96 Atlanta
Falcons, 1997 San Diego Chargers, 1998 Arizona Cardinals,
1999 Carolina Panthers, 2001 Washington Redskins,
    2002 Green Bay Packers

If you go down to nesser, it looked like they played together and in parenthesis next to the father it said (player coach)

Not close but just a FYI, the eagles first round pick this year, jalen reagor, his dad played for the eagles in 2007.
