Hello guys. I'm new to the forum and a huge football fan. This is a great topic. "All time" lists are hugely subjective and I'd probably change my own order every time I had to come up with it... but for now let's say my own list would like this:

    1. Brady
    2. Montana
    3. Unitas
    4. P. Manning
    5. Favre
    6. Marino
    7. Young
    8. Elway
    9. Brees
    10. Rodgers

With the new crop coming up now, I'm pretty sure that list will likely change in a few years.

Gonna need a breakdown of this logic. Bradshaw barely had more TDs than INTs.

As I look at it more I think what hes saying in agreement, just put in a strange way. Basically is Brady is your GOAT based on the fact that he has 6 rings, and not because hes actually the best QB, then Bradshaw should be due to the fact that he has second most rings as a QB.

Rodgers is absolutely top 5 . He has arguably the highest peak of all time. Ahead of Peyton's peak.

Neither were as good as Marino.

I guess it's time I stated my top 10 then:
    1 - Marino
    2 - Manning
    3 - Unitas
    4 - Brady
    5 - Rogers
    6 - Brees
    7 - Montana
    8 - Favre
    9 - Elway
    10 - Cunningham

Funny to think that, that reference is almost 20 years old.

That would make sense if Brady was just a game manager coasting on his team carrying him. Brady's defense won him 2 of his first 3 rings, but it's so stupid to ignore the way he's carried that team since the mid-2000s. Hes top 3 in pretty much every record, has 9 SB appearances, and 3 league MVPs to go along with his "ringzzzz". Even better, he's done all of this in the salary cap era, imagine if the Pats could just hang on to every player who thrived in their system the way the 70s Steelers/80s 49ers/90s cowboys could.

As much as I love seeing my favorite player of all time on this list, I'm not sure even I could put Cunningham in my list.

I was torn between him and Moon for that 10 spot. But its my belief that their mobility (online with Young) is what started to get coaches to look at the fact the we should be using QBs in more ways. He gets the nod because I think his athleticism is the most beneficial of the 3.

Moon is so ****ing underrated. It's a shame he didnt get to start in the league until his late 20s, but he was amazing in his 30s. He'd be high on a lot if people's lists if he got to play in his early 20s.

Agreed. Moon and Cunningham are so underrated, especially compared to guys like Fouts and Tarnkington.
