I think it gives us a good one to punch. We can use Swift to get us to the goal line and KJ to punch it in.

our defense has too many holes to be using the 35th overall on a RB imo.

especially when our oline is still pretty crap.

I think having a strong defense and oline are the best ways to win

Now if we can somehow acquire a decent defensive end and a good number 2 wide receiver I think will be all right.

I really don't know how I feel. A part of me thinks that picking a RB this early is a waste because of Johnson and what you hope he would become. However, he's been injured in both seasons. Out of 32 possible games he's played 18, not great.

you dont think LB is our biggest need? our DTs arent great either.

honestly I think our entire defense is built of barely serviceable players and nothing really better.

isnt trufant our best defender now?

I can't disagree with you guys though I do like the ability to flex swift out wide. I am curious if they would consider flipping Kerryon.

Swift got comparisons to Kamara and McCaffrey by some. I'm all for taking the best player available. Besides, it was a major position of need for them. Kerryon is always banged up

Can't argue with the Swift pick. They needed an RB1 and #35 was were they had to get that guy so good job Bob. Don't screw up the rest of the draft.

hahah if it makes you feel any better the bears just used their first pick on a TE.

Can you guess how many they have on their roster at the moment without googling it?

A lot of good defensive options available still. I wonder how long some of those names have to slide for the Lions to move into the 2nd.

    Kerryon being shopped?

I like the player I just don't like that we picked him . Our line can't run block... He's gonna have a crap yards per carry average and get stuffed a lot unless we can rub block.

Also... Defense... Is... Still really bad. Meh.

That's why I preferred Taylor, he's a one move runner and probably would have done a little better here than Dobbins or Swift.
