Maybe it is that you don’t like their being called selfish? If so, all I can say is of course they are. In fact, to be honest anyone who touts individual liberties (especially in this case over and against public health) is likewise touting a form of selfishness — defined simply as “the quality of lacking consideration for others and concerned chiefly with one’s own profit or pleasure.”

EDIT: Is selfishness a bad thing? You tell me.

As of July over 46,000 children lost a parent to Covid. That’s a big number.

Do you believe those children have suffered no negative effects from Covid? Or is losing a parent kind of a big deal?

So, was that your complaint with the opinion piece? Because those parents are most definitely selfish even if they are couching it in faux patriotic language like freedom and liberty.

Nope. But I am glad you called it what it is, an opinion piece.

At least you correctly labeled your response exactly what it is: drivel.

98% of students and staff are vaccinated yet everyone is still required to wear a mask?

You can’t even drink water in the classroom! How is that following science guidelines? If you’re vaccinated you can’t even eat or drink in the classroom and have to wear a mask at all times even answering questions. You don’t seem that’s crazy?

I can't believe they're putting these people's lives in danger by not allowing them to eat for like an hour. It's basically a concentration camp.

I notice that is the whole student body while the law school is the one mandating the masks. Perhaps their students are holding up the 100%?
