Vermont being the exception that proves the rule

Oregon and Washington are considered Liberal states because they are dominated by their large cities however each has a large rural area that is extremely conservative, but overall they are considered Liberal.

Iíve just never heard Pennsylvania called a Liberal state before.

When the coal industry was rolling along, most of the miners voted for Democrats.

And less people are willing to jump into the coal mines and suffer the inevitable black lung or other devastating diseases that come with being a coal miner.

I don't know for sure. But I don't know what new technology they've added that is going to keep the coal particulates into their lungs.

I think you're a little behind on the times when it comes to coal mining.

I am by no means even an amature at mining but I am guessing they have breathing apparatuses that keep all particles out.

I'm not familiar with the topic, so I tried to look it up. I'd be happy and grateful if you had something else I could read that is more current.

Hold on there. There was a very recent 4 year period where you constantly talked about how bad the coal mining industry is and how horrible the workers were treated and how the mines negatively effected their health. After all of that, are you now saying that you had no idea as to what you've been talking about?
