    From the Mayo Clinic (https://www.mayoclinichealthsystem.o...t-face-masks):

    3. Myth: Wearing a mask will increase the amount of carbon dioxide I breathe and will make me sick.
For many years, health care providers have worn masks for extended periods of time with no adverse health reactions. The CDC recommends wearing cloth masks while in public, and this option is very breathable. There is no risk of hypoxia, which is lower oxygen levels, in healthy adults. Carbon dioxide will freely diffuse through your mask as you breathe.

If you feel uncomfortable in your mask, try to limit your talking and breathe through your nose. That will reduce the humidity level in your mask.
    From WebMD (https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/2020...xygen-levels#1)

So researchers at McMaster University in Canada set out to test the notion out: They gave 25 adults (average age: 76.5 years) portable pulse oximeters to measure their blood oxygen levels while wearing a face mask, as well as before and after.

The investigators found no concerning signs of hypoxia, or reduced blood oxygen.

Of course, "this supports what we already knew," said Dr. Aaron Glatt, an infectious disease specialist who was not involved in the study. "There's no decrease in oxygen from wearing a mask."

Some people may feel uncomfortable wearing a mask, noted Glatt, a spokesman for the Infectious Diseases Society of America. But that's no excuse not to do it, he said.

So ... if someone doesn't have the money, has to work, and has medical issues that make wearing a mask untenable your solution is to just stay home until they lose their home or starve to death? It's one thing to say that many complaining about masks can wear them just fine, but to declare that everyone one can either wear a mask or "just stay home" is pretty ignorant.

Do you deny mental health issues people have too?

(my wife has an immune deficiency and is claustrophobic and has largely stayed home, but staying at home slowly drives her into depression and panic, then going out and seeing everyone in masks and wearing one herself leads fairly quickly to panic attacks ... it's not moral outrage or about freedom or about not caring about other people, she is just struggling with the whole thing, including masks ... I don't think there are any blanket statements that actually fit everyone)

Clinical studies: thereís no risk to wearing the masks.

Dude who didnít read them: but adverse effects!

I don't hate you. I think you spread bias misinformation that tries to paint your favorite president in a beneficial light. I've already explained to you that I think you have limited understanding of how the virus spreads and nothing you've said has proven otherwise.

He thinks that Web MD and the Mayo Clinic are lesser than his opinion. No hate just wish that thinking would stop and be replaced with common sense. But you know they say that common sense ainít that common.

President Trump of course. Nice to see you understand what context is in regards to the overall death totals. Now apply it to your fact about deaths per day.

You quoted and they said adverse affects. Do you know how to quote? It certainly limits oxygen so please show where it does not limit. Not where it does not cause adverse affects but that it limits.

You should thank a conservative that you're alive. It's the only answer why you still are.

My goodness are your posts achingly dumb. Another poster with that lovely combo of knowing very little, yet full of unearned confidence.

I provided a fact on the death toll.

that tries to paint your favorite president in a beneficial light.
We are not speaking of him. We are comparing President Trump's death tolls to President Biden's.

I've already explained to you that I think you have limited understanding of how the virus spreads and nothing you've said has proven otherwise.
Why would I care to educate you about my education? I've already made it perfectly clear that you don't care and you admitted yourself that you don't care. You even reject objective facts for your feelings. Don't make me go all Ben on ya.

Go ahead and let me know when you get down to 1000 a day or better thanks with the benefit of full vaccine rollout that was expedited by what administration again?

Ok so I'm going to quote LITERALLY THE SAME THING I DID LAST TIME:

    3. Myth: Wearing a mask will increase the amount of carbon dioxide I breathe and will make me sick.

I've bolded sections to make it easier to comprehend.
