well, it's certainly a better way to put it...it's still just an opinion, but it's not attempting to make a statement about their entire person, just their view on a given issue

Disagree with them, fine.
But you have no justification for thinking of them as morons. You don't live where they live, you haven't heard things they have. There's a LOT of things that go into people having developed the opinions they have.

It doesn’t make a lick of sense. Other than it shirks any personal responsibility for fighting the disease. I’m told Republicans are big on personal responsibility but what I see in practice sure seems to run counter to that narrative.

I suppose it's theoretically possible. But I have not seen anyone resisting the masks in my state. I've only seen it amongst one side.

plenty of young ppl don't wear them, but not for the crazy reasons republicans don't, like the deep state trying to control us, or that it's a media driven hoax, etc.
