Do you think Austin Texas is an attractive sports city to house the MLB, NFL, NHL?

I was just curious with Major League Soccer on the way I was thinking is Austin, TX an attractive city to host Major League Baseball, NHL, National Football League in a decade or two from now? Thatís if NHL considers relocation/expansion around this decade or after 2030 with Seattle coming in I donít know whatís the likelihood of another NHL entering after SEA, NFL considers expansion/relocation before 2030 or after, MLB considers relocation/expansion before 2030 or after. The city keeps growing in population. It is a big tech hub also not that it matters with sports but their is a lot going on their right now and it has a bright future.

Is your assumption that you dont want a pro sports team unless it is a net positive from the economic impact being greater than the tax burden? Perhaps a municipality is willing to subsidize the sports entity because they want the enjoyment of local pro sports?

Is it just me or does it feel like these bots are artificial intelligence beta testing...?

Just you. They simply take chunks of what other people have posted and spit them out in a generally obvious and unintelligible fashion. Still doesn't stop real posters from being tricked in to interacting with them from time to time though.

I wasn't smart enough to ascertain if I was a bot or obvious and unintelligible or if you weren't referencing my response to Claudia's red herring?

Hopefully, we will enjoy more sports games on our TV but still, we can play online without problems!
    Thanks but is it legal?

I mean, Austin is so congested, I can't imagine it being even more of a pain in the *** to get around. Perhaps the major sports sites can be 15 miles south of the city, so it is kind of a San Antonio/Austin centric location?

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

This tells me you have not lived in the Bay Area, LA, Boston, Chicago, NY, Philly, Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta.

I lived in Houston for 14 years. It's so spread out the population doesn't seem like it does in Austin, where everything is packed on itself. Austin would need to have time to build its infrastructure first. Dallas is surrounded by literally nothing on 3 sides dude, so the congestion is manageable.

As far as those other cities, where water takes away options, yes, their residents had to just deal with congestion.

My only point is, sure, why not, but Austin is already a pain to get around, adding more to it will just be more on an annoyance.

sometime smaller cities have way worse traffic, especially ones that have grown much larger recently, the infrastructure isn't in place to handle the massive surge of people. Austin, Denver, etc have traffic like huge cities. The Katy freeway in Houston is 26 lanes.....smaller cities have nothing like that lol.
