Eh, maybe. It also could be that pax likes Boylen because he’s a yes man and catered to pax. So pax is going to vouche for him. Either way I don’t think it matters. Boylen is toast.

It'd be really hard to justify keeping Boylen after overhauling the FO. It'd be one thing if we're talking about a HC with several playoff appearances, but Boylen's had no success here aside from sabotaging Hoiberg behind the scenes.

Mentally speaking, he has that winning approach.

I still love the guy and people can criticize his work on the Wolves, but they improved with him there and they went down as soon as he left.

I hate the fact that he is so old school on offense (is he still? no one knows for sure what are is today´s thoughts on that) and his minutes towards the best players, but to be honest, i wouldn’t be upset to see him here once again, although, i feel we should move on another route in 20/21 (development).

Boylen making personnel decisions is odd. Must mean he will be retained past this year.

AK would lose credibility with the fans if that were the case. He seems like a smart enough guy not to have taken the job if they mandated Boylen stay.

True, I personally feel he will be allowed to finish the season but be fired in the offseason.

i agree with this. A new coach does nothing for the handful of games we have left. Let Boylen finish. Firing him now puts added strain on finding a new HC.... and I wonder if wr are even allowed to interview a guy like say Adrian Griffin right. Probably not.

Not a big deal. Assistants can coach whatever remaining games are played if/when they even will be. Fans and new FO are ready to turn the page.

This seasons done. The page will be turned next year. Let Boylen finish out the year and start fresh next season. No point firing in him now
