Thumbs up Met's All Time Team

    https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/n...cked-rotation/

CBS is doing the all time team for every MLB franchise and did the Mets today.

Thought it was a fun read if you're stuck at home.

Really good list. LOVED that they figured out a way to not put Jose Reyes on the team.

Good god have been fortunate with our pitching.

    Anyone you would change?

    C'mon.

Jose Reyes belongs on the list, regardless of what he's done off the field.

I am the biggest HoJo fan, but no, at SS Reyes is the best the Mets have ever had at the position.

It really is but I can't stand Reyes lol.

He HATED Colorado that was well documented. He shoved his wife into a door, then put his hands around her neck.

That directly resulted in him being let go and the Wilpons bringing him back to NY.

It drives me nuts that Reyes got his wish by straggling his wife. He is clearly the best SS in NY Mets history though.

The last sentence is all we're concerned with. Hojo most likely was a roider anyway.

Considering he moved to 3B for Elster.

Who would you pick for 3B? Hojo or Wright?

I thought it was that reliever (crap can't remember his name now) that hit his wife. Not Reyes. I'm just going from my bad memory.

Wright was the greatest offensive player save maybe Piazza in franchise history so hands down, Wright.

HoJo was an experiment at short. He had limited range there and Davey didn't mind plugging him in there when a fly ball pitcher was on the mound for the purpose of getting an extra bat in the lineup. The only thingyou can say about him as a shortstop is he was better there than he was in centerfield. Which isn't saying much.

    Doug Sisk deserves the nod.

Hojo didn't move to 3rd because of Elster.

First half of 1984? Absolutely! They used to call him The Man Without an ERA.
