Greatest single game Lions performance - all time.

Saw this in another online forum.

What single performance by a Lion stands out for you?

    12/22/12 Megatron breaks Rice's record
10/27/13 CJ catches 329 receiving yards vs the cowboys

11/13/94 Barry Sanders rushes for 237 yards
    12/21/97 Barry cracks 2k

11/22/09 Stafford's dislocated shoulder game vs browns
    11/26/15 Stafford's 5 TD's on thanksgiving day

10/22/11 Monday night football Suh's hit on Cutler

I'm sure I'm missing a couple, feel free to discuss/add your own. I know I said all time, honestly I donít know anything past Barry sanders.

I added Suh's hit because I felt it gave our defense an identity that we were tired of being laughed at and that things would chang. It forced the world to look at us.

Stafford's game is still a highlight for me personally, I still get chills.

I vividly remember listening to that Lions/Browns game on the radio while making the drive back up to college. Was crazy! I was also on the verge of being too far out distance wise of the radio cast so it was a bit of a static mess trying to listen.

Barry getting 2K stands out for me

Jerry Ball getting 75 sacks in a season of Tecmo Bowl is another

edit: oh and Herman Moore having the single season receiving record for a few years was cool

The first one that came to mind was the game Calvin had against Dallas.

Suh sacking Romo TWICE from the DT position in one the same 4th quarter drive during the infamous BS Cowboys playoff win. That was optimum Suh. Another wasted talent in Detroit.

CJ's 300 yard game really stands out to me. IIRC he only had 1 TD, but was close to at least 1 other. That was also the game Stafford tricked the cowboys into thinking he was going to spike the ball and he jumped the line to score the game winning TD.

Gosh that game was great. There was a youtube video with on field mics. I can't find the video now, all the old links were removed for copyright infringement :/

That was a great game. The fact that it was against the cowboys made it that much sweeter.

    My thoughts exactly.

Here are the Highlights from Megatrons 329 yard game

I have another one to add to the list and that is Megatron's triple coverage catch against the Cowboys also.

he got stopped on the 1 yard line 3 ****ing times!

Watching CJ jump brings me joy. He gets so ****en high into the air. It's amazing.

I miss CJ. Was the greatest thing the Lions had in 20+ years and they still can't figure out how to fix the relationship with him. It's sad.
