Well, they didn't stumble after the Dolphins game. But there was a lot of stumbling last season, yes. However, they made it without needing any lucky breaks in week 17 or something like that. Still a trash division of course.

Err... the Cowboys played those teams, too, just at the beginning of the season. Now of course the division was trash but you don't back into the playoffs going 4-0 in the last 4.

They didn't exactly play well in 4 out of their last 5 games though. The only one they played well in was in week 17 against NY. The other games were very weak against bad Washington and New York teams where they barely won and a loss to Miami. Beating Dallas was good for them, but neither team played well in that game. Had Dallas won the division it would be the same thing that they stumbled into a division championship because neither team seemed to really want it.

I don't think it was even their best football though of the year. They had some good wins earlier in the year. I just don't see the final stretch of games where they barely scraped by against lesser teams as their best play. They beat GB, they beat Buffalo and Chicago too (who at least finished .500).

To me it was just quite the underperformance by both Dallas and Philly last year. I went into the season thinking Philly would win like 11 or 12 games.

I don't want to confuse my stance. Philly faced 4 must win games and won them. In that sense, they didn't back in.

Sure, arguments can be made about the competition and whether or not they were tough game, but they were divisional which at times are considered tough regardless of their record.

I agree they didn’t back in given what we established yesterday. They definitely won the games they needed to, I just wouldn’t call it impressive.

Oh well, let’s hope 2020 brings some more consistency for our teams. Especially the Cowboys.

I wouldn’t say that there’s much to call impressive about any team as a whole in the NFC east last year. There are some individual players on teams that you can say were impressive but as a whole, it’s hard to says that about any team in my opinion

Agreed. Aside from Dwayne Haskins, it was really a bummer of a division... lol.

Here’s something that’s gonna rustle some feathers but I’m being serious . Vegas came out with Post Draft MVP odds . Dak is 3rd . There’s great odds on Wentz . He’s not even in the conversation. Why not throw a hundred bucks on him winning it ?

Good. The eagles like to be underrated and the cowboys like to be praised for being better than they are which goes straight to their heads. It fits both situations pretty well in my opinion

Colorado is a legal sports gambling state now so I just looked at the sportsbook I use. Dak is 4th at +1200 and Wentz is 6th at +1700. I'm not a high money gambler but I might throw $20 on Wentz... If he wins the MVP, I'd make $340 off those odds lol
