I think eagle fans had higher expectations for Dalton then cowboy fans.

You should talk to some of my buddies that are Cowboy fans. Man they couldn't wait for something to happen to Dak to get Dalton in there. And I find that line of thinking to be the general consensus amongst Cowboy fans that Dalton was the equivalent of Dak for pennies on the dollar.

I’ve said this since last year but I think the eagles have to actually give up assets just to have a team take alshon. He’s negative value. Maybe something like alshon and a 3rd for a future 6th.

Or it just means that Dalton is really bad which everyone already knew except for Cowboy fans that thought Andy Dalton could replicate Dak's numbers. Makeshift oline or not being able to give the ball to Amari, Lamb, Gallup, and Zeke if you are throwing the ball all the time because you are behind you should be putting up some big numbers.

To think that dalton could replicate daks numbers is crazy talk. But even dak wouldn’t be successful with the injuries on their offensive line either, hence the reason dak struggled in the giants game which was the first game they really started to be decimated by injuries on that offensive line.
