With all elective surgeries being essentially canceled, i can't see him having the procedure soon either so that pushes the timetable back.

That's a big loss for Syndergaard too because he hits free agency after next season and there's a good chance he won't get a lot of innings in 2021.

    2020 has been a ****** year.

Bet it had something to do with all those ridiculously macho workout regimens he'd undertake.

All these guys only have so many 100 mph bullets in their arms as well. Its essentially a ticking time bomb type situation.

Everybody needs TJS. It was just a matter of when.

If Trump can become president with no political background then I don't understand why I need a resumé

I'm surprised but the surgery is scheduled for Thursday. Well, if he's lucky we'll see him sometime next summer.

He's Thor. He gets "lucky" whenever the F he wants.

This is why these $100 million multi year contracts are ridiculous.

Teams that don't want to give out these deals are called cheap or painted as they don't want to win, but several of these deals go south every year.

Starting to feel as if good teams are as mkuch lucky as they are talented.

15 months is the time you expect so I don’t see him coming back till August or September if all goes right.

Now the question is will the Mets let him go? Will they offer him a qualifying offer? Or will they try and sign him on the cheap for a few years and pay him the missed time and add some years for less money that he would command if healthy?

That's why we needed six starters. The matter on who goes to the bullpen has been settled.

He's only on a one year $6 million contract. In 2021 he'll be eligible for arbitration.
