His letter was kinda alarming. Basically said he realized in missing a season that he didn't miss football when he was away.

Looney was also resigned. Should be good competition in camp. Also would not be surprised if they drafted a center in the middle rounds.

Just when you think you got an elite core signed for years, something like this happens.

But you can't really blame a player for putting family first.

Thatís a lot of bread . Iíve said in the past I thought he was the best player on the team this is a huge loss . Iím wondering if the draft Ruiz . But what would have been the sense of drafting Connor McGovern. Might as well give him a shot .

Some have been saying that Center might be the best position for Connor Williams.

The dude is extremely smart engineering grad from Wisconsin. Has already designed some apps in his spare time. There seems to be life after football for guys that have interests outside of athletics. I bet he cant wait to drop 75 to 90 lbs either. A guy as smart as him knows that the extra weight takes years off his life. Funny how so many former lineman look like regular framed guys within a year of retiring. See Joe Thomas of the Browns

Yeah they do have a couple options . Going back and reading Mccgoverns draft profile it seems like the only negatives were he had to be coach up in certain parts of his pass protection but really strong grades across the board . 2nd round projection . Hopefully he can contribute somewhere this year .

He should as long as he stays healthy. I also expect that they will draft another interior lineman, as well as bring in an undrafted guy or two. They also have the option of bringing back Ron Leary. From what I understand heís not the same player that left here but would be solid depth. That would help in moving one of the Connors to center.
