I dont want to get too worked up into this..... But if you hire a GM and Handcuff Him with a head coach he doesnt want Are you really giving him authority to build the team the way he wants?
It remind me a bit of Pace and John fox being voted in by management and a outside firm instead of giving pace say. Except that Fox is Actually at least a capable ( not good ) head coach.
This BS is like the Jets reworking management and being told adam Gase has to stay. Boylen may quite literally be the worst head coach in the nba and our new GM doesnt have authority to can him?
And look im in the train im under the impression why fire Boylen when we still cant really interview who we want as head coach. I dont know what the nba tampering rules are but in pretty sure we cant go talking to or especially hire adrian griffin or Ime Udoka who are probably our top candidates anyway. Yes you could talk to guys out there like Atkinson Or Joerger or even Thibs before he was hired..... but lets let Eversley and Karnisovas talk with everyone fire.
But none of this maters if your making them give boylen a chance. It just feels like another wasted year for us.

Luckily these are all unsubstantiated rumors. Hopefully AK fires Boylen and we'll all feel better.
