This matchup is a matchup that the rams get the votes because of their big name stars that would be a lot closer IRL.

Rodgers looked like prime Godgers for one game last season and that was in the playoffs vs. SEA; let's hope he keeps it up. Gurley is trending bigtime downwards and while you have nice weapons, the OL is really really really bad and the chargers have a pass rush that will make it tough for Godgers. I do think Godgers gets a TD or two but sans the SEA game he was pretty underwhelming and the OL is probably as bad as the OL he head when he first started the packers before it got good and similar to what Watson had pre-tunsil.

The Chargers offense is sneaky good and will allow baker to complete short passes to Moore, Landry in the slot) and probably two of the better PC RB in the league. Their OL is also not good but it's not awful.

The Rams safeties are extremely concerning but their CB aren't awful; probably avg to slightly above. Chargers corners are probably average. Haha is haha; don't expect him to tackle and blow some coverages.

Chargers DL might have the best DL in the game and I think Baker will benefit from short passes w/++YAC and get them to a few scoring drives.

Chargers 20-13 w/ the Rams settling for two FG after not being able to convert

This is a typical fantasy football mentality let's just look at the offense case. Big name Rodgers and Gurley and Cooks and Ertz look sexy. But I feel like my defense is night and day better, not even remotely close. And agree with Giannis that the receivers that I have for Baker would shred this defense alive, and I think my defense could hold them enough where I could outscore. Looks like I'm going to lose early. Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn
