NFL fans are funny how they defend their QB. If they've got a good QB and the team builds an offense for them, then they ***** because their guy doesn't have a defense. But if they have a defense, then they ***** because they have no help on offense lol. We all do it so I'm not trying to single you out MBC. It's just funny imo

I wouldn't rule out fan biases, but Cam legit won MVP with trash around him on offense. Of course it was close with several other QBs stats-wise but he played great that year. Who was actually surprised the Broncos defense would stifle Johnathan Stewart, Ted Ginn, Corey Brown, and Devin Funchess? Or Miller and Ware wreaking havoc on Daryl Williams and Mike Remmers, for that matter. At least "make something out of nothing" QBs like Brady and Rodgers generally have a good OL. The only one who comes close really is Wilson post-2014 that's why it's so weird to see MTM hype Russ and trash Cam. It's like he's flipping coins to decide what QB he likes.

I mean not really, Wilsom played at Wisconsin, being a packers fan, it's probably safe to assume he's also a wisconsin fan.

that's the reason he likes wilson.

Cam has never played for a team north of the bible belt

he's a Sixers fan too, but I swear I've seen him talking about watching him play at Wisconsin before

That's totally fair, but tbh people way overrate Carolinas defenses every year. For as much resources as we've poured into defense, we're never elite and often not even top 10. I agree a strong defense is great for a QBs win percentage, but as for his individual performance a strong offense is obviously better for a QB. Rodgers can have a "bad" game and score 28 points and lose 28-35 and the typical response is "poor Rodgers, he needs a defense". At least a strong offense gives the QB a chance to control how much you score. A strong defense can still easily lose 17-14 when the offense is so trash that you can't move the ball.

Washington either wants to see improvement in Haskins or win 2 games and be in the running for Lawrence. They have no interest in bringing in Cam for a year or whatever and winning between 4/6 games. Ive been telling you Washington's percentage at signing cam is 0.
