    BREAKDOWN:
This gives us a young very young roster, with veterans in place to teach and allow younger players to develop. We have a monster D-line/ pass rush. A young athletic LB corp, with seasoned vets like Thomas Davis Sr. and Jon Bostic to hold down the middle until Foster can prove he can stay healthy. We have legit, starting caliber vets DBs in Collins, Fuller, and Breeland, with young talent sprinkled in there to hopefully fill out a nice secondary.

On the offensive end we need to move on from Trent, but I don't see any young guys in the draft or FA that would fall to us. Might as well sign a tried and true veteran until Christian proves he can play or until we can draft a long time replacement next year. Andrus Peat is a young, high draft pick that disappointed at OT and was recently moved to OG. Sounds a bit like Erick Flowers. Let's bring him in to solidify the left side of the line. The draft is packed with wide receivers. We can double dip in the middle rounds a grab a ton of value. Have them battle it out with a inexpensive vet FA and see who can lock down the spot across from McLaurin. A young QBs best friend is his tight end. Let's sign the best one we can grab in FA and grab the best available in a decent middle round TE draft. If we want to give Haskins a chance to succeed we load up on weapons and we give him a 100 year old veteran QB to learn from. Who knows what will happen with Alex Smith so lets bring in the nonthreatening journeyman McCown (if he doesn't retire) and raw talent in the draft to groom.

I'd would be happy going into the 2020 season with this roster and very excited to see how Riverboat Ron could develop these players in the future.

I like the moves we have made so far...thought we gave Dunbar away way too cheap.

The best we are getting is a 3rd for Williams and maybe a 6th. But I would go a different route. Clev wants TW, we need wr and they are said to be shopping Landry and OBJ hard. OBJ brings too much baggage, so Landry and a 5th for Williams and a 4th. We want wr really bad, and we either give up what we will get to get Cooks (or more) or just get Landry (who is opposite of Scary Terry, who is more of a Cooks than a possesion wr like Landry
