Two 1sts EASILY. Could have really changed the face of the organization with a massive rebuild. Instead, it's the SOL.

Really...ask people to name 3 teams that you can pretty much guarantee won't make the playoffs this year. It's March and I bet the Lions make 99% of people's 3 team lists.

They just continue to ignore the absolute BASIC strategy of selling assets when you're bad, and buying assets when you've got a shot. These clowns just go through the same motions EVERY YEAR. Doing the same Lions things.

God forbid we trade Stafford, then we'll miss the playoffs for sure! As opposed to what??? Being a dominant contender every year? lolol

    So awful.
He was having an MVP start to last season before he got hurt and was putting up some of his best numbers so i'm not sure what you mean by that. These next few years are right at the end of his prime. He has shown no signs of slowing down besides the back injury

I still think we can get two firsts and a future first rounder. But knowing the Lions they won't come close to that

Because he's familiar. I have no problem with bringing in players from a team the coach knows well and is comfortable with but all they're bringing in is role/rotation guys. Who has Quinn brought in in FA who is above that level? Maybe Marvin Jones?

On paper I would say Lang and Wagner would fit that concern as well. Shame they did not pan out however. Which is increasingly frustrating given how stuck they are on being able to run the ball and have such faulty line play. In general though I agree I do feel like they are trying to stick to one set of players instead of tailoring the scheme to the player.

Point taken, Lang and Wagner at first glance appeared to be decent signings and Lang actually was for a bit.

I don't mean based on results, although he did have a better 2nd half if memory serves, but in terms of setting a top target and getting their man instead of going after a role/rotation guy

You're right, they definitely did that. I think they massively overpaid him though. They're paying him like a top tier blindside pass rush specialist and that is not his game.
