Barrett is a bad choice Lagoa would be a brilliant choice by Trump.
She would be effectively bullet proof. If the Dems ripped her, they will look very bad.

Even my wife who is a bleeding heart, reluctantly agreed.

To lighten things up, have you guys heard of an “ Energy Vampire, or “ Psychic Vampire “ ? It’s a kind of vampire that survives on the annoyance and nervousness it engenders in its targets. See this link for laughs and it may explain a few posters who frequent this board. Enjoy - https://youtu.be/4k1EhYj7YEk

Clown, imo the point is moot. They should wait. If Trump wins then you can discuss HIS pick.

The hypocrisy streaming from the R's is nauseating. No need to mention Merrick Garland.

Dont think DEMS csn count on Republicans sense of fair play. See that Pelosi is studying the optiono of impeachingTrump again to prevent the process of bringing forth the process of a new SCOTUS in the Senate
Also the elimination of the filibuster atleast they arent planning on taking this injustoce without vaseline.

For certain. The D's should not, and will not go quietly! The hypocrisy is evident to all but the sycophants' up Trumps butt. I am hanging my hope on the morally minded and reasonable R's to stand up and be counted, the few they may be. This appointment will change the face of the court for generations.

Trump should not be trying to push thru his choice before the election. If he succedes why would problifers need to vote for him ?

That assumes that pro-lifers are ONLY voting for Trump on single issue? Good point.

It is frightening to watch the Dems become more full of hate and vitriol than the Reps.

I don't wan him as president. But in the last couple weeks, it's gotten nuts.
I have certainly been guilty of calling out people and accusing them of certain beliefs based on their blind support for him but you step back and look?

It's ****ed. And it is not just Trump doing it. Trump is not going to turn the country into a fascist nation. Just like Biden won't turn us into purely socialist country.
I have spoken to many people about whom I care and that I respect. They feel the Dems will ruin the country the way the Dems fear Trump will. When I listen, I don't agree with all points, but there are many that I can see as legit, at least to them. They aren't ignorant stances. They aren't callous.

Truthfully, hearing AOC continually speak scares me as much as hearing Pence speak. They are the same coin.

Then you have HBO running a show that essentially bashes him and his family at all costs? Really? What if they'd done that to Obama?

When all these celebrities come out screaming, it's not a good look for the Dems. That party looks really bad right now. Really, really bad. Really hateful.

Trump sets himself up. He deserves much of what he gets but not enough to have people hating one another.
I hope people read full transcripts and give some context to many of the things about which he's quoted.

If you think Trump is better for this country? Great. Will I question certain issues? Hell yes.
But no one should be afraid of voting for Trump or Biden.

If Trump wins, I hope he does a great job.

I could mention that might be more indicative of the fact that white college educated people who dont support Trump. OAN and Fox non college educated whites who support Trump. Anyway one point about Pro Life, if Trump appoints an other judge, the shift will lead to so many conservative pro corporation victories that you will see the repeal of so many laws and programs that make life easier that millions of young people will simply decide having children in that new world will not be worth it.

I voted for Trump and wanted him to do a good job he failed to. Trump has shown himself to be in
In capable of doing a good job. AOC a young congressional member from a poor district only gets attention because Fox has elevated her status to be a boogie man. Her voice is not representative of the Dems but Pence is representative of his party. The Republicans are the party that has led to this division, they have harnassed the wedge issue and dog whisltes for decades. I am a Republican and admit this but it now has gone too far. Go over to YouTube and look at videos produced by Republicans voting for Biden. New folks are added daily. Recently a staff person of Pence has come out for Biden. Its a false equivelancy your making.

Clown one questian if the Supreme Court tilts to the right for gthe next 20 years what does that mean for the life of the regylar middle class American ? Think about the changes that will result... its some really scary **** for a regular middle class person. For pro lifers, its ironic because after a decade of pro corporate supreme court decisons millions of American woman will use birth control and illegal abortions to not bring children into a world with less oportunities and safety nets for their kids.

I am not disputing the importance of that.. But am also not ready to presume a SCOTUS is going to be bad just because he nominates them.

I do think it's ****ed that McConnel will push it forward. He's a scumbag. But so is Pelosi.
The abortion thing is scary. It will likely, be up to each state.
(As a side note with a bit of levity and legitimacy, if she does get the nod, investing in Plan B would be a wise choice because it will be flying off the shelves for a period of time.)

My point above was people need to stop hating each other because one votes for one and the other votes for the other.

AOC simply talks too much and says dumb stuff. It's not Fox's fault. The Post has write ups, CNN, NY times...
I loved it when she got elected but she's becoming a bit of a monster

The Dems have really driven this car too fast and too much on the wrong side of the road. As a party, they look terrible. They spew far more hate and they do it at every opportunity. It's not a good look. Preaching togetherness to their base and fringe while meat grinding anyone who may even insinuate they like trump.

In addition to Roe v Wade the ACA is at risk of being completely gutted as well. The Trump administration is currently in court battling to eliminate key elements of the program, the individual mandate and pre-existing coverage top the list. Cost-sharing reduction subsidies to insurers ended and access to short-term "skinny" plans, which help circumvent pre=existing conditions was expanded. The SCOTUS is scheduled to hear arguments re: ACA Nov.10 a week after the election.

Make no mistake, Trump's priimary goal is the elimination of "Obama Care", he's made it a mission. The very day Trump was sworn in — Jan. 20, 2017 — he signed an executive order instructing administration officials "to waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay" implementing parts of the Affordable Care Act, while Congress got ready to repeal and replace President Obama's signature health law.

Clown, hate and vitriol are the calling cards of this president and the R's have been complicit! Not one has the balls or ovaries to stand up and be counted. Yet when the D's fight back and play by the same rules they are taken to task for the same behavior! Why must they always take the high road? Hypocrisy at it's finest. Kudos to Pelosi and AOC for speaking truth to power. They had a target on their back, placed by FOX, from the second Trump was elected.

Forget the ACA, private corporations will argue it violates their rights to have to pay to insure their employees period for any health inaurance. There will be fights by individuals to stop paying FICA and Medicare taxes.
