By the way Spanish Flu was not of Spanish origin. In 1918 during WW 1 the belligerent nations noticed their troops dieing of the flu but tried to keep it secret. The Spaniards were neutral and their press reported about the influenza killing people and thus it became known as the Spanish Flu.

NYC cases essentially doubled in a day. It increased by 1000 cases. Even if the social distancing works, it won't be noticed for a couple weeks. NYC could double every day for the next week or more. If the distancing doesn't work, it will be insane.
