Trump and his campaign are trying extremely hard to stop these states from providing significant access to mail in ballots. He knows that is detrimental to his re-election chances.

We will find out in November. I think Biden has the advantage as we speak because Trump doesn't have a lot to campaign on. The civil unrest, the mishandling of the pandemic, the current state of the economy, etc are all under his watch. How do you make America great again or keep America great when its in the current state that it is in?
Trump is smart. Stephen miller is a reincarnate of hitler as a speech writer. This "One" party, stand as "one" crap is real and it's freaky.
The scary thing is how many are not only silent Trump supporters but how many are looking at him as the second coming of whomever they want, Jesus or Hitler.

I also will not be shocked if we start a military campaign in mid October.

He will do and say anything to stay in office (notice I did't say win). Biden will not. Biden actually cares about the country more than himself at this point in his life. Trump cares about himself.

First you had Bannon and his staffs contempt for the gullible Trump voter, buying yachts with wall money. Then you have Faldwell Jr with his ongoing contempt for his supporters on religious principals. Then you have the RNC not even having a platform cause its blind loyality to the chief. When Trump and his enablers display exactly how stupid and gullible his base are in broad daylight.

I wish that meant something. I fully agree with what you've said but it doesn't matter to his followers.
He is sincerely using the same rhetoric hitler used. The liberals, the liberal media and Hollywood are against me.
Really? That's not far from suggesting something way more similar.
He now has the party basically doing all they can to discredit anything that isn't far right as the enemy and out to get them.

It's ****ing insane. But they eat that **** up with no syrup and scream about it being the best pancakes they've ever had.
Angry white nationalist Americans (and rich people who don't care) will turn out in droves to drive out the leftists who are trying to make their freedom.
As Trump takes their freedoms one by one. But that's ok, because he's on their side.
Like hitler took germanys freedom to "help the cause"

Whats is more tragic and equally true is what Trump said about the fact that millionsof blacks who did not vote in the last election and by extension liberals and independents. He said if they did not vote againgst me that means in real terms they liked me. Trump stated perfectly since these people did not vote againgst him, it was just as good as a vote for him. So mamy millions of voters conflate entertainment with politics. Trump is an entertainer and people love this realty show. Trump said that last week. While we know the RNC is propping up Kanye to steal some votes from the politically uniformed celebrity worshippers.

I can say with some confidence that will not be the case in 2020. BLM has mobilized and organized. He would love to keep turnout low, hence all the suppression efforts. High turnout historically favors D's. His attempt at suppression is quite transparent. Where is the GOP? They are complicit. They have become a cult and turned the reins over to him. No platform, no conscience and NO BALLS / Ovaries.

I dont know. People like their convenience and dont want to do their parts. They love PBS but wont donate a pledge. Peiple love to be entertained and say their rights need to be protected but are silent when it comes to their duties. People love to be complacent and will invent reasons to be so. Then the GOP adds reasons to make it even easier.

True, we tend to be lazy and feel entitled.

I was referring specifically to the Black vote you mentioned in regards to Trumps claim. I do sense some are energized, not necessarily excited by Biden or even the D's, but there is tremendous anti Trump sentiment building. I don't believe anyone stays home. No anti Hillary vote, Bernie bros should be on board, the middle is the battle ground. Can Biden convnce and win over the moderate D's that either stayed home or voted for Trump? Will more moderate free thinking R's abandon the party line in favor of a more sane moral choice? Will they see thru the facade?

I have a feeling Trump will bury himself. His narcissism will be his downfall. It wouldn't hurt if the SDNY and Deutsche Bank dropped a bomb, ala Comey. Wishful thinking. This is not the time for complacency.

FWIW I have been a PBS member since the 70's. I have worked several State and National level campaigns.

PBS is the best, no wonder the GOP hates it. I Hope your right by what you said. I am unable to post what Trunp said, but if someone can post it. An other group of dopes for the President to exploit which he does so happily.

I honestly think Trump's narcissism emboldens much of his base. I think they admire that in him, even when it borders on delusion. They don't seem to care what he says whether its on Twitter or elsewhere. There's certainly enough ammunition to bury him, some of which he provides because he can't keep his mouth shut but that hasn't been the case yet. He has a real shot to win re-election, especially as we get closer to Election day. Voters tend to be more comfortable with the incumbent.

Let's hope the turn out is high. I do think there will be a lot of people who stay home because Biden doesn't invigorate or aspire enthusiasm in voters. Its basically the anti-Trump sentiment that Dems are betting on imo.

The RNC was a complete laugher last night btw. Kimberly Guilfoyle is a ****ing lunatic. She fits in well with the Trump family. Natalie Harp's comments on marijuana in relation to universal healthcare were completely ridiculous as well. All they were missing was speeches from Tomi Lahren and Sean Hannity to really complete the circus.

Well I would rather Trump loses for your good and mine. For your children and mine, for your economy and mine. So for whatever reason you take so much offense at what I assert, I want Trump to lose for our common good and to prevent the harm he does to us collectively. When you go low I am going to go high.

I take offense bc you shove pe.do Joe down everyone's throat nonstop and say if they don't donate money to his cause then we're bad people. Support him, fine, I couldn't care less, but don't tell others wtf to do.

You come across as a giant tool.

You come off as a person incapable of defending your positions without resorting to insults. If you disagree with my positions you have every option to ignore my posts but you seem hypersensitive to my posts and respond to them frequenrly. I may indeed be a giant tool. I can see how to someone who disagrees with me I may be. However, this is a yhread devoted to political discusion. Since, I was in Junior HS, I was told by Social Studies teachers our duty is to be active. To support a Presidential canidate in an electoral college system involves financhial contributions or some sort of contribution of time if you live in a State that is wrapped up. If that makes you feel guilty or if I am trying to make you feel guilty, what can I tell you. Its basic Junior HS, and Senior HS social studies class material I am asserting. Your free to beleive whatever you want. I am not insulting you and making it personal like you are. Why make it personal ? By the way you are telling me what I should do while telling me I cant tell you what to do right ? All you need to do is simply ignore me and that would be that.
