My rant isn't motivated by sheer partisanship, DeSantis is a D-bag and Trump sycophant. He put lives at risk. I question his motivation and allegiance. FWIW, I am a tax payer in Florida.

If you can produce the post alleging DeSantis was blamed for player illness, I will both apologize and delete my comments.
Actually it was kinko that went off on a rant against desantis when the marlins outbreak first happened .

I'm guessing you think it strange that a team from Florida is the first to get hit like this?

What kind of an attempt at a quoted post is this?

PSD: where the moderators consistently cave to crybaby tattletales and it's a lot safer to be openly racist, hateful, and ignorant than to be a little rude to the racist, hateful, and ignorant

Not exactly what you suggested. I don't read that as blame, but more questioning your negativity in general and absolution of responsibility by DeSantis while condemning the league. Imo clown was reflecting the hypocrisy in your statement.

I knew you would weakly attempt to brush it off. He blamed desantis for it and you know it . You tell me why he brought up desantis when I blamed the mlb for the break out on the marlins ? How is my blaming the marlins and mlb for their break out hypocritical ? Especially when I said earlier in this thread that I didn’t blame cuomo for the outbreak on the Mets right now

Ahh the compression level drop when certain posters returned.

Doc, I will straight up ask that his post be cited as bating.

I will also answer the ludicrous accusation.

I blame Dumbassantis for Covid the same way I blame the talking Cheeto. I blame neither for the virus. The virus is not there fault nor is how deadly it is.

What I blame the Fla gov for is a piss poor response to the virus. I blame him for the third highest per capita covid cases in the country. I blame him for ignorant and inadequate safety measures. I blame him for things that he can control and those are action that can be taken. he cannot control the virus. He can control the response.

Now as far as the MLB? Yes Doc, I was responding to a very ignorant posters reaction and claim that everyone else acted incorrectly but absolved his governor.

I do not blame him for the virus. That is something a stupid person, would think someone would say.

What else is ironic? Didn't the Marlins take after their governor and make a foolish decision by voting to play that game?

Nope. No mask man date. Numbers are thankfully going down for now. But school is starting, so who knows what will happen.

Also, I believe there was a change in how and who does the reports for the virus. I think it changed from the CDC to HHS.

You do realize that for the Mets player to have tested positive they would have had to been carrying the virus since before they were in Florida right ? They were only there for 3 days .
Before they were in Florida they were in Philly , Washington DC , Atlanta , Boston and playing at home in ny for the previous 20 days before they went to Florida . Nice try though . Oh and when the marlins tested positive they were in Georgia and had been there for about a week or so since they had played exhibition games vs the Braves there before the season started . So they were there for about a week before they tested positive .

Again weak and doesn’t explain why you even brought up desantis and it being a coincidence that the out break was with the Florida marlins and they play in Florida . You and drt’s attempts to cover up the obvious are lame but Expected . And on top of that now you are twisting my words , I didn’t said you blamed desantis for the virus itself I said you blamed him for the marlins outbreak because of his “piss poor response” .

What is the incubation period of the coronavirus disease?
Typically, a person develops symptoms 5 days after being infected, but symptoms can appear as early as 2 days after infection or as late as 14 days after infection, and the time range can vary.Aug 4, 2020F

    From The CDC

In that case did any marlins players test positive at the same time as well? For all we know the Mets player could have picked up the virus in the plane ride there or in Georgia while playing the Braves or at philly a couple days earlier than that . Either way it is at the very least a stretch to say the Mets picked it up in Miami and your post proves it .

Simple math is so difficult for some
Especially when it disproves a theory
When one claims something couldn’t happen and it is shown that it could, the. They change the argument and draw a different and equally foolish, conclusion. It’s amusing as hell, especially when the two arguments has nothing to do with one another
I love how ignorance and rage, along with a childlike, daddy complex of loyalty, blind the ability to read and comprehend
