Please explain how the hiring of a postmaster general, who has major interests in the post office's competition, by a president who wants to stop mail in votes, has anything to do with democrats or covid?

You don't just respond with a non related topic and claim it to be a valid argument.

On a humorous note, while Cheeto man is raging against mail in voting because of the fraud it will create, he and his wife are voting by mail

There are gray areas that get lost in gross generalization.

I would like to address a few issues you raise.

Just as it is your prerogative to cast aspersions on the "left" and all that implies, why get your panties in such a bunch when someone does the same with the right? Yes FOX viewpoint irritates a lot of people. It has become state TV and a mouth piece for the right wing. At times it appears they are Trumps private cheerleaders and fan club. Which is fine as an op ed, but not news! It's sensationalized opinion and should be labeled as such. They perpetuate his lies and misinformation campaign. Only Trump views the media as the enemy, except when they do his bidding.

You are certainly entitled to your perspective and "viewpoint". But realize others are equally entitled to theirs even when it lies in direct opposition to yours. That is what debate and is all about. What you define as ridicule more often than not is opposition to the position or disagreement with Trump's policy.

People don't get that "he doesn't care"? Oh people get it. They take issue with his shredding the constitution in the process. His behavior is beneath the dignity of the office. He is a buffoon! Forget about presidential, how about human decency that one comes to expect from anyone...a neighbor, casual acquaintance, boss or co-worker? He was and remains the most unqualified person for the office in memory.

You can't take CNN seriously due to their incredulity with him, but yet seem to parrot FOX BS that is often misinformation, obviously biased and imo a disservice to the public. Advancing falsehoods, conspiracy theories, inflammatory racial stereotypes and the like, the fodder of FOX, serves as a devise tool of the tool in chief.

The thought of him being re-elected scares the **** out of me. I fear for the rule of law, the shredding of the constitution, the lowering of the norms of the office, our standing on the world stage, I am tired of the country being the laughing stock in the international community. I am tired of an ignorant narcissistic buffoon putting his needs before those of the country. I am tired of a man that doesn't feel, has no empathy or compassion. I could go on and on, I think you get the gist.

Some of us look beyond our own needs when considering the presidency. Not only what is good for me, but what is best for us, the collective whole. Our interest extends a bit further.

Trump "for some reason" is polarizing?! Wake the **** up Nick! I could go on for pages as to the reasons. He relishes dividing not unifying. He must choose sides. His narcissism divides the world between those that are for me or against me. The operative term is the ME. That is not the quality of good leadership or even a healthy human perspective. There is the middle ground where productive discourse ensues. Problem is, when you believe you are always the smartest person in the room, the only voice you hear is your own. Not cool.

I think you get my point.
Dr, unfortunately people line up on both sides of the aisle. I have no issue ever with that.

My issue is the hatred or how crazy people get from the left since Trump became President.

Why does it bother people on here or anywhere because others support Trump?

You did not see the hatred from the right when Obama first became President. And I’m talking about leaders, celebrities, role models, ect. I’m not talking about the average citizen. Look at the Hollywood elite and now they reacted to Trump becoming President. We have awards shows used for platforms to blast Trump.

People from the center to the left have reacted childish since Trump took office. And I’m not saying you can’t disagree. Of course you can. But the way people have been doing it since 2016 has been ridiculous.

Personally I think people just use the way he acts as a front to *****. Deep behind with his policies is what angers or scares people the most.

In defense of Cheeto man, the whole, "invasion of suburbia" comment is taken way out of line.
He doesn't want low income housing built in suburban neighborhoods. It's not a race issue. It's real concern for those living in those areas.

It would suck to work your arse off to get a place in a nice, mellow neighborhood and then have a project put in the area.

The comment wasn't as bad as it's made to be

With that said, there is a serious level of ignorance behind it or being used against people.
Not every low income housing area is a project. There are also low income housing that allows assistance in purchase of homes and there is no reason a lower socio-econimc family, shouldn't be allowed to buy a house in a nicer, safer place to raise their kids.

The narrative that all projects are Boys in the hood, is silly.

In NYC I had a few friends who were the beneficiaries of these developments.
1 was a single moment with 2 kids. She worked full time and barely afforded their rent. She purchased her home for 75k. It was a 3 bedroom townhouse in the lower east side. It was a set of row houses with similar families and it was awesome.
People can sell the homes for a modest profit. Prices are set based on appreciation.
I think that is a very fair way to give people a chance.

Mush, what bothers people is that those who support him, often refuse to acknowledge his blatant, bigoted language and attacks.

If you accept who he is and what he is saying because it makes you money, you are turning a blind eye to his divisive actions and that is essentially condoning it.

Again, stop with the "left " stuff. It's not just the left, "The Lincoln project" is a pretty conservative group. There are tons of people on the "right" who can't stand him and get just as nuts. Does that make them left because they despise a man and his tactics?

    Nope.

No one hates trump because he's a "republican."

People can't stand what he says and does. They can't stand how he's handled a national emergency. They can't stand how he treats minorities and women. They can't stand his gloating, his pride, his refusal to take accountability.
They have disdain for him. That is what you seem to be failing to see. It's no a right, left, in, out, up or down issue.
It's him. It's a man who has done far more negative than he has positive for the country. People don't like the person.

Why does the moderstor allow you to not answer direct questians such as I have made to you dozens of times about Russian bounties, the betrayal of the Kurds, the losses to the 401k and more tax burdens for millions of people under this president prior to Covid, and then your allowed to ask others why they dont answer per your distorted logic ? I dont expect you to have intellectual honesty but maybe a moderator can keep you mindful.

You didnt see right wingers lose their minds when Obama was elected ??? Your completly lost in ideology, you dont have the capacity to be objective, due to your constant exposure to Fox. When Obama was elected Republicans heightened their attacks and became the party they are now, " The party of No. The party of conspiracy and hoaxes ". When Obama was elected Chrisitan Evangelicals asked outloud if he was the anti Christ, and demanded " I want my country back ". At a Presidential addrese to Congress a Republican called him a liar. A quick google search will find you plenty to refute your silly argument. Btw, I am not a liberal. I am a gun owning Conservative. You are what makes me a ashsmed of Republicans today, you like to play the victim when your simply refuted and confronted with your own lack of sound, consistent, and pragmatic arguments, and when told when your views are off the rails by fear you want to pretend your a victim. I am glad Republicans are rising up at the very least on social media. Go to YouTube and do a search of Republicans againgst Trump and you will find hundreds if not thousands of videos. Just a tip of the iceberg of Republicans who refute you and your crazed ideology.

If Biden was complaining about mail in voting you would be agreeing with him.

Mail in voting is a joke! Why not just vote on line and call it a day?

Clown, that is your view. I have already said that I do not support everything he says or does.

You are basically saying that whoever you support you must support everything that President says or does. And that never happens with anybody with regards to any President.

Your enabling card that you use a lot is a blanket statement that is not true.

So Dr, where are the links to articles showing us how bad Florida is?

They have stopped in the past few weeks?

It looks like this thing is burning off with the summer heat.

No. In no way am I saying, if you support a president, you have to agree with everything he says or does.
    That's is your sad spin.

What I am saying is that if a president actively promotes racism and sexism and you ignore it because you make money, you are complicit in the continuation of those issues.

We are not talking about, immigration, abortion, socialized medicine, infra structure, the economy, taxes, international relations, the military.
You can support a president because you love that he makes you money, builds the military, is a great diplomat but still not like that he is pro choice and pro socialized medicine.
You can love everything a president does and support him even though he is pro gun control and wants to increase spending to social services and you don't like those things.

We are not talking about that. We are talking about racism and sexism. We are talking about promoting hate and prejudice.
Those are two vastly different issues than any of the others. Those are basic human rights.
And yes, if you support a president who actively perpetuates and nurtures those aspects of inhumanity, you are complicit.

Look, if you don't wan to look at that or see that, that's on you. Give your support to a racists, sexist person who is followed by a whole bunch of the same.
And to be expressly clear, I am not saying all those people are horrible. There are many, many people who have racist and or sexist views who are kind, intelligent and awesome people on the whole. You can be nice to people of different races and still be racist.
