I Have no problem ending the name calling . Now if some people would put an end to constant harassment over one post I made 6 months ago , things would be much better .

If you would admit when you are wrong, stop citing facts when they are not, stop calling posters ignorant, read the full post and comprehend it before disagreeing with it, we will certainly stop calling you out. It's not harassment. It's you making foolish statements with zero basis and people challenging them.

No. I often disagree with Doc and have disagreed many times with Day. We just allow each other's opinions.

What I was saying is that I am not intentionally disagreeable. I don't report every post that is mildly offensive to me. I don't call posters ignorant unless it's true.

I felt things got a bit to contentious today. I locked the thread as a way to cool things off. With the season approaching it was suggested maybe it was a good time to close it and focus attention on BB. Lets take a breather from politics and the virus. I think we are all a bit on edge due to the situation which confronts us.

As mentioned in the thread things go a bit too contentious today. I closed the thread as a result. I think we are all a bit on edge as a result of the current climate in the country. No sports to speak of and many unknowns. We may decide to open it in the future. I believe we needed some time to cool off, regain composure and take a break from politics and Covid discussion.

I am hoping you all understand and agree. It is my sincere hope once BB gets into full swing our discourse will naturally gravitate to other topics. This is not to minimize the import of the crisis, but rather to give us time to reflect and consider priorities.

Politics are polarizing, even more so in our current political climate of divisiveness. This can and often does force us to choose sides and defend turf. This forum is not intended as a vehicle for animosity directed at each other, but rather one of unity in our love and support of the Yankees.

I've averaged about 13.5 posts per day since signing up. Is that too many?

What if I make a donation somewhere even though I'm working 5-10 fewer hours per week than I was pre covid? Am I then allowed greater posting privileges?
