Folks, the US has failed in it’s attempt to slow the spread. Scientist were saying the summer heat would burn it off some. Well, we are approaching July 4 and the Country is still roaring with the rona. Trump just listens to the experts and he then comments so this problem can’t be just his fault. He is not smart enough to make comments without having influence from somebody with brains.

I’m starting to believe some Country started this to wreck our economy for the next 10 years. This reminds me of the 1920s when we were going through the roaring 20’s. The Country loved pleasure then and didn’t want war, wanted to make money and to have a good time whether you were rich or not so rich, you enjoyed life, you had sports, places to go, ect. Well the depression came and so did WWll which changed the country and it’s way of life.

This Country was going through another high with the stock market exploding close to 30,000, all people were doing whatever they could do to enjoy themselves. But I think another Country, one who puts pleasure behind work wanted to wreck the US. They hate our way of life. Figure it out folks, why was a certain Country shutting down their cities but allowing people to travel the rest of the World?

Currently Trump has failed during this crisis. But personally any President would have failed as well no matter what they say now. Biden said he would have done this and done that yesterday if he was President. Oh stop, easier said then done and of course a lot easier to say those things during an election year.

Does Trump deserve another 4 years? From Jan 17- Jan 20 he did enough to get 4 more years easily in a landslide. But the virus came and it has wrecked his chances IMO. Biden should be sitting on a beach enjoying his life right now. He is NOT the one to run the Country IMO. And neither is Trump.

Folks, we are screwed either way. Biden will weaken the Country again. He will take the monies for military and put it in social programs while other Countries beef up their military. That is what some of you people don’t understand. What about the other Countries? You can not weaken the military just because it cost money.

I would like to see actual concrete proof about Trump and Bountygate. If he knew then shame on him. But where did this story come from?

As of now I’m not voting for anybody. I sure as hell can’t vote for a guy who wants to weaken the US. And I sure as hell can’t vote for Trump with the way he has fumbled with his horrible response to the virus.

I guess I’m forced to vote for Bill Weld.

I had NEVER SAID the protests were the primary factors for the spikes. Let’s get the story straight.

I said testing in June increased the main numbers while the protests helped with the spike.

If we had the testing capabilities in March then maybe the numbers in June would actually be going down.

Again, ONE MORE TIME. In March in Florida you had to go through a screening g process before even taking a test. How many positive tests in June would have never come to fruition if there was the same screening process? I know people who failed the screening and now they can just ask for a test. Asymptomatic people in March who were screened were never, never tested because they didn’t have symptoms to prove.....now they are and positive results are showing...not too hard to figure out...

Basically the March numbers were too low because of the screening process.

Only thing that I will say about this is that the sources that the media used are unnamed officials , that alone should be a red flag in this story . And then there is the fact that the fbi and cia can’t even get the verify the information and neither can the pentagon but someHow it is still fact . I just can’t help but feel that something stinks about this .and the stink is not coming from the White House .

Why do people care that much about statues to be honest? We have a world where white police officers kill black men for sometimes no reason and we're worrying about the statue of a confederate general or of a slave owning president. If they go away, whatever.

We're not erasing history. We're just choosing not to celebrate those who thought it was okay to own other people.

NYT is one of the most reputable sources in the world. Their 104 yrs history of excellence and 125 Pulitzer awards are testimony to their standing in the world of journalism.

That said, the Times does not run with a story that is uncorroborated, EVER. More than likely the story was well sourced, but the sources asked for anonymity for fear of reprisal from the orange guy.

Politics are a dirty business Nicky. Both sides are guilty. You can not in good conscious argue otherwise. However, I am not placing the NYT above reproach, I just think you are barking up the wrong tree on this one.
