As testing becomes more widely available the US numbers will more accurately reflect the spread. We now have positive tests in all 50 states. Imo it was criminal to suppress the early testing protocol. Denial is not an appropriate response. Wishing and hoping not an appropriate course of action.

For those saying it's the same as the flu, 475 people died in Italy yesterday.
This is not the flu. It spreads faster and is deadlier.
Stop saying absurdly misinformed things.

Maybe if the govt to wasn’t so focused on trying to impeach trump he might have been able to get more done . Remember almost 2 months ago he wanted to start travel restrictions but he was criticized for that

It does. There are some other reasons they speculate as reasons for the high death rate but it's still killing more than the flu and spreading more quickly.

A single leader cannot. A government can. I have friends in this industry who are so angry at the lack of preparation. You literally need plans G, H, I, J...
There needs to be a system in place and then 20 other systems if that fails.
It's up to the leader to make sure these things are set and have an idea what will happen and the chain of command and communication. Then leave it to the experts.

Those friends also say that we are very lucky this is the "Junior Varsity" virus. It's a world wide, wake up call

That could mean a lawmaker down the line of succession who is not up for reelection could be the new president. That person very well could be a Democrat, and installing a the Democrat in the White House is not an outcome Trump or any partisan Republican seeks.

And installing a Democrat would just put the tax for corporations back to 35% and a much slower economy down the road. Democrats just stifle the economy with all of their rules and regulations that make no sense whatsoever.

I would give everybody 7 days to stock up and then have a total lockdown for 15 days.
