the point should be to bring us together. IMO it really started under Obama and Trump has done absolutely NOTHING to bring us back together. If anything he has made the dived much worse.

Did u see that he''s open back up his rallies and has over 2m ticket request for the first show. He also had the largest campaign donations in one day recently. 5 months ago i was probably going to vote for him now, not so much. How his base can basically double down on their support for him after what gone on is shocking

U have no idea how much i wish their was some other legit choice for POTUS other than Trump or Biden. Even Romney would be better than the choices we have now

Hey if hundreds of thousands of people have the right to protest for almost a month now , I donít see anything wrong with trump supporters getting together for rallies that last for a day or two. As for Romney , he is a damned joke , he could have easily beaten Obama 8 years ago if he had the balls to actually stand up to Obama and debate him on the issues that Obama failed to act on in his first term . But instead he ran one of the most pathetic presidential campaigns second only to McCainís 4 years earlier . As for being shocked at how many supporters trump has , just look at what Bill Maher said the other day . The Dems are doing such a bad job at highjacking the issues and ruining them that it pushes people to vote for trump . And Maher is a liberal .

Dr, the problem I have is is you are against the movement you are classified as a racist and that is bullspit. Iím in no way against what their meaning represents just tired of the blowback from the left or opposition for their idiotic responses to anything in 2020.

The deep criticisms of Trump is beyond hatred. And if those type of criticisms were done when Obama was President then you would be called a racist. And that is bullspit. People canít be criticized unless you are a white male and that is a joke.

Why canít people criticize in the United States anymore without the left overreacting to every single comment?

The left can say what they want to the otherside of the aisle and it is ok or not publicized by the media or if they do bring it to light they mention it as just a few idiots who got lost in the shuffle.

Dr, please give me examples of the gross generalizations that you see. You always say a lot but at times donít give us the examples of it.

Again, people want the ESTABLISHMENT back.

People still today do not understand why he even got votes for President.

Most of the opposition want the old ways of just kicking the can down the road to the next person in charge. The same damn issues are never resolved. Well, it came to a head in 2016 and people got tired of it.

Hillary just ran into bad luck. If she was facing just the typical Republican she would have easily won IMO. Trump moved the needle. She didnít and didnít know on how to react during the campaign.

THE DEMs just look for dumb excuses on why she lost and still scratch their heads on why this guy is President.

Their same ole crap didnít work in 2016. Joe Biden is the same ole crap. And Iím not saying he is a bad person for President as he tries to be good but it is soooo fake with his playing to the different parts of the Democratic party.

And the Dem supporters will say anything opposite of Trump is good enough. That alone is not going to work.

Biden canít just use Covid-19 and the George Floyd issues as a reason why he shouldnít be President.

Trump will wipe him clean come debate time.

Since Palm Beach County began allowing businesses to reopen, Alonso says, the percentage of people testing positive has jumped from 4.9% to 8.9%. "The fact that these are going up means there's more community spread," she says. "The virus now has food out there. It has people that are out there without masks, without maintaining distancing. So it's infecting more people."

    Broaden the stroke a bit.

    How about these two criticisms.

    Trump sucks.

    The USA sucks

    or

    Trump is a thug

    The cops are thugs.

You really don't see the difference? You don't see the difference between criticizing an individual for their job performance and their serious, shortcomings as a leader and making a negative, generalization about an entire group that reflects only a few issues within it?

Aww. Is your entitlement being challenged a bit?
You realize what a victim you sound like? Poor white men. Poor, poor us.
This is why you and we are part of the problem . If we can't see past that myopic lens of "me", we will never facilitate change. We can sit at home, reflect and have an impact on true change if we accept our own flawed vision and understand that for change to happen, it will be uncomfortable for a while. It's that simple. We can each do that. Whether or not you choose to do that or complain about affirmative action, favoritism and yeah, poor white me, is entirely up to you.

It's also complete BS. You can criticize whomever you'd like but criticize them for legitimate reasons.

He wonders why we can't all get along but laments the removal of civil war statues or the cancellation of shows like cops. Yet, what those symbols represent to millions of tax paying citizens oh well they just should deal with it, in the name of history. Funny, conservative made arguments that citizens should not have to have their tax dollars pay for abortions and a person with religious objections shouldn't have to sell gays a wedding cake, but black tax payers and soldiers should be aok with monuments to people who wanted to enslave their people. Yes, sounds logical to me. Shows like cops are not being censored by the way, they have been cancelled, which thousands of shows have been. It's not a free speech issue. You like shows like that buy them. You want a statue of Robert E Lee or whoever, buy it and place in on your property. Yet, don't go crazy cause the popular taste don't want to watch those shows any more or or tax payers don't want to have them serve as monuments, because our monuments are our societies Hall of Fame, and we as a society can't do better then honoring a person who represents an oppressive past for fellow citizens ? Monuments speak about a societies values and tastes and yes those values change. For example, I know all about Thor, Zeus, Baal, and Stallin but we don't have statues to them anymore. History is found in books, videos, computers we don't need to be reminded in a public park.

I believe this was went for me. Just because Trump has shown that he's the wrong choice doesn't suddenly make Biden a good choice. There isn't enough lipstick to make that particular pig pretty, although Trump has been doing everything he can to help Biden.
They're both bad choices , Joe is just the lesser of the 2 evils

The bolded is the key to al of it. The popular preference can certainly be dictated by misinformation and fake news but it is still the popular choice.

The popular choice is to remove confederate "heroes" because the population as a whole, sees it as f'd up to hold those men in such high regard.
The minority sees it as a hoax or unfair or overly sensitive when in reality, they are the ones who are overly sensitive and under sensitive. They can't allow change. so they feel hurt that the rules they are used to, have been changed. They act pissy because they aren't getting their way, when in fact it's been their way for a few hundred years.

It's also quite funny to me, that many of these people claim democracy is dying and we are becoming socialist and soft, when in fact, it is democracy that has decided these issues. More people feel a certain way than the others, so they win. That's democracy. The majority rules. Don't cry foul because you aren't in the majority. Accept it and move on or perhaps, reevaluate your position and possible change it.
