    Really?

At least 12 other states, following the guidelines established by the Rump administration, are also guilty. Again not excusing the decision only offering perspective and the context that existed at the time.

How many governors are guilty of altering data and firing lead specialists to cover it up?

I am only talking about cuomo who the left and some of you praising so much . And of course what cuomo did was worse since his state leads the country in infections and accounts for the most deaths in assisted living facilities in the whole country . And before you say ny and Florida can’t be compared , as of last year Florida has a slightly larger population than ny state.

Dr, if she wasn’t a scientist and was fired you would have not said a damn thing about it. He can fire as he pleases....

And all these scientists and “experts” keep changing their opinions on this virus every few weeks . I mean now fauci is saying this country needs to opened up again soon or the economy will be damaged beyond repair .

I don't have a problem with it either. Look, as much as I dislike Trump, there is some kind of serious situation going on in the world everyday. There is apparently no good time for presidents to go on vacation, go enjoy themselves, etc. Its dumb partisan politics when its brought up. The thing that bothers me is his blatant hypocrisy (on this and many other issues) and you can see it ruffled his feathers when Biden pointed it out.

Of course you are only talking about Cuomo and ignoring the 12 other governors who followed Trump's administration guidelines. It's NY, he's a Dem I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

Fla can't compare to the population density of NY, not even close. (The primary component in the covid spread equation, the more densely packed the faster the spread and higher infection rate.) NYC is the most densely populated major city in the country with a density of 27,000 people per sq. mile. Fla. is 354.4 people per sq. mile.

    Deny and deflect.

You have not answered or responded to the charge re: DeSantis. Why? Because his behavior is indefensible? Why is he cooking the books?

No Nick! I prefer to inject bleach and shove a flashlight up my ***.

    Respect your president!

My objection isn't to the firing! My issue is with the fudged numbers and blatant attempt at a cover up. Trump has ushered in the belief that politicians (particularly R's) are above the law, have absolute authority and can abuse their power to further self serving interests.

You are too kind. The manner in which he crucified Obama, who didn't play 1/10th the amount, is indefensible. He claimed "he wouldn't have time to golf, he would be too busy working," Bullspit! He has spent more time playing golf, AT HIS OWN branded properties, in three years than Obama did in 8 by a very wide margin.

I love golf, I would be more than willing to grant him the concession, IF he wasn't such a hypocrite!

Trump golf count to date: 251 trips (at his own branded courses)

Cost to the US taxpayer: $134,000,000 = 335 years of US Presidential salary.

The Secret Service has spent more than $765,000 to rent golf carts at trump properties alone.

Actually When it comes to most densely populated states , New York Is 8th at 412 people per square mile while Florida is 9th at 400 people per square mile , A difference of just 12 people Per square mile and will get smaller since Florida’s population is growing while New York’s is declining due to the disastrous policies by cuomo over the last 10 years. Stop excusing cuomo for his lousy job as governor ,you barely even acknowledged the assisted facility scandal while going nuts over desantis firing one scientist and adjusting virus numbers by a couple hundred while cuomo Inflated the numbers by untold thousands when he put 5000 infected in those facilities exposing many more vulnerable people to the virus .

He's talking about New York City, not New York state. You need to work on your reading comprehension.

If you ask me. Top four reasons new York city were hit harder than anywhere else.

    1. The international travel that comes through the city

    2. The mass transit. No where in the US does another city have anywhere near the same level of transit. Between trains, subways, busses.. Etc.

    3. Cuomos failure to act quicker once cases started being confirmed.

    4. Mayor D. One of the worst politicians I've ever seen. How he is still in office blows my mind.

Yep. I crawled to the bathroom. Once the vertigo hit, the room spun for 7-8 hours and slowly calmed down.
