Doc and Day are great mods. I think it's why this thread is so active. They let us check each other for the most part unless it get ugly.
Yes it was and I did not care one bit (or make any attempts at trying to get her banned).

I am not super familiar with the two mods you are referring to or how they mod but I like what I've seen so far. I know plenty other forums within this site that would have been way less lenient with the way people have been talking to each other.

GD and the Mets forum but yeah, I would bet this isn't a dupe of hers that we are talking about.

Very consistent thought process. More mush than MUSH.

Ya they're both super lenient compared to other mods on here. Pretty much allowed to police ourselves as long as it doesn't get out of control with personal attacks and whatnot.

    You all ignore that.
Not at all I wrote about it. Why didn't you comment about it when I did. I also asked you and Posada to show me what organizations for funding in your districts. You never responded to that. Why you ignored me then and bringing it up now ?

Where I work I have met Trump supporters that proove the cult of personality works and principals or common sense doesn't. I deal with physically and mentally disabled people. I have met many Trump supporters on public assistance, disability, and other programs directly in Trumps firing line. I don't personally like welfare but these people are not lazy or opportunists but really mentally, psychiatrically, physically limited. These guys pass the day at home, rehab, and dialysis centers listening to Hanity, Ingraham and watching fox for hours. They are lonely and socially isolated it gives them a purpose. They are generally nice. But I have seen it they shared with me how they believe Trump will help them cause he is going to punish illegals. When many of them are on public assistance and are seen as vermin by many Trump supporters. It gives them a reason to feel good cause they aren't the bottom of society anymore. I believe politics is about self interest but they vote against their own interest. As my wife a very smart progressive told me Conservatives have trained their bases to vote against their own interest and use wedge issues and divide and conquer techniques like no other. I have to say I see this played out here just as it is often on my rounds dealing with these folks in my job. I am not a doctor not that kind of rounds, lol. But you can't win them over to your side with logic. Might as well stop. Only a more interesting more entertaining figure can. An other celebrity an other figure that they will like.

Liked, wanted, its the same ****. Those were his misinformed preferences. I know my timeline of events. He initially said he would leave it up to the state governors to close their respective state. He then said he was the decider in what states opened and received push back from governors so he changed his stance.

He then went on some social media rant about "Liberate Virginia", "Liberate Michigan", etc before condemning Georgia reopening the other day.

There is no consistency in any of his messages. The true Trump comes out on Twitter though.

Disappointing news, showed promise in early limited trials.

New data on Gilead’s remdesivir, released by accident, show no benefit for coronavirus patients. Company still sees reason for hope
By ED SILVERMAN , ADAM FEUERSTEIN , and MATTHEW HERPERAPRIL 23, 2020

The antiviral medicine remdesivir from Gilead Sciences failed to speed the improvement of patients with Covid-19 or prevent them from dying, according to results from a long-awaited clinical trial conducted in China. Gilead, however, said the data suggest a “potential benefit.”

A summary of the study results was inadvertently posted to the website of the World Health Organization and seen by STAT on Thursday, but then removed.

“A draft document was provided by the authors to WHO and inadvertently posted on the website and taken down as soon as the mistake was noticed. The manuscript is undergoing peer review and we are waiting for a final version before WHO comments,” said WHO spokesperson Tarik Jasarevic.

Why would anyone in their right mind trust anything WHO says or posts on their site ?

Posada said last night he doesn't want to hear any criticism when numbers spike in some states that reopened. This he has inoculated himself from further doubt of his savior. It's all good. Leave Posada alone. He believes what he believes it gives him peace.

    Religion
    Abortion
    Socialism (Welfare/Healthcare)
    Minorities

Are a few that come to mind. It is astonishing because you and I are on slightly different sides. I think we are both fairly center.
We can agree on probably 9 out of 10 issues being posed to us. And that 1? We may disagree but I don't see either of us voting for someone who represents 5 out of 10 if that 1 is one of them, just for that 1.

That's what happens. I have had friends who have honesty disagreed with 75% of a platform but voted because the candidate was or was not pro choice.

I know there is no changing that but I don't like misinformation and lies. This president thinks if he speaks over everyone and pretends like he never said things they have direct quotes of, that it will just wash away. It doesn't and it shouldn't.

The president is quick to criticize his opposition for what they say and do. How about doing the same for himself? That's not going to happen with this narcissist.
