The fact that Trump called the rioters thugs and people said that he used it in lieu of the N word. Why doesn’t that apply to everyone that says thug

I have no issue of any protest just do it differently.

Didn’t happen... sorry misinformation from the media. Violent crowd that refused to move when Barr told the police to make the perimeter a block wider after the events that transpired the night prior. The police then deployed smoke canister... no tear gas and no rubber bullets. Just a bunch of whining liberal pansies.

Its their constitutional right to kneel. Its called freedom of speech. No one cares if you disapprove of the platform they do it under. Its not an issue that remotely affects you. Have you ever been a victim of racism? Do you worry when you are pulled over by the cops that you might not make it out of that encounter alive?

White people dont get to be the moral authority on how others protest.

Talk about misinformation! The crowd was peaceful. They had been assembled most of the day. One hour before curfew and 30 minutes before his publicity stunt they moved in to clear the park. For what reason? So Trump could stage a photo op! His own party proffered a blistering denunciation.

Sasse, Republican of Nebraska, said in a statement. “But there is a fundamental — a constitutional — right to protest, and I’m against clearing out a peaceful protest for a photo op that treats the word of God as a political prop.”

Scott of South Carolina, the only black Republican in the Senate, who denounced the move in unequivocal terms during an event hosted by Politico.

“If your question is, ‘Should you use tear gas to clear a path so the president can go have a photo op?’ the answer is no,” Mr. Scott said.

The official White House message has been to criticize media coverage of the president's decision to clear Lafayette Square so the president could hold a Bible for cameras at St. John's Church. Some aides, speaking on the condition of anonymity, acknowledged the images of police clearing the park was not a good look.

The U.S.Park Police, one of the law enforcement agencies involved with clearing the park on Monday, denied using tear gas. But the agency acknowledged using "pepper balls," another chemical irritant that causes people to tear up and cough.

The agency also said it used "smoke canisters."

But the Park Police was only one of the agencies involved. Others, including the Secret Service and the D.C. National Guard, have declined to say what tactics or munitions they deployed to clear the park on Monday night.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests that "tear gas" and "riot control agents" are terms that can be used interchangeably. On its website, the agency also states that "pepper spray" is a "riot control agent."

"Riot control agents (sometimes referred to as 'tear gas') are chemical compounds that temporarily make people unable to function by causing irritation to the eyes, mouth, throat, lungs, and skin," the CDC's website reads, mentioning pepper spray specifically.

Alternative facts? Polls conducted by various organizations, including Gallup, Fox, NBC, CNN, Politico, YouGov and Public Policy Polling, showed otherwise for all three 2016 debates.

In fact, major post-debate polls following the candidates' three debates from September to October showed that respondents believed Clinton emerged as the victor over Trump, ranging from a five-point margin of victory to a 40-point margin.

    CNN/ORC International: Clinton 62%, Trump 27%.

Public Policy Polling: Clinton 51%, Trump 40%.

    YouGov: Clinton 57%, Trump 30%.

    Politico/Morning Consult: Clinton 49%, Trump 26%.

Echelon Insights: Clinton 48%, Trump 22%.

    Reuters/Ipsos: Clinton 56%, Trump 26%.

    NBC News/Survey Monkey: Clinton 52%, Trump 21%.

    Gallup: Clinton 61%, Trump 27%.

Fox News: Clinton 61%, Trump 21%.

    Washington Post-ABC: Clinton 53%, Trump 18%.

The statistical website FiveThirtyEight, which is owned by ABC News, wrote on Sept. 28, 2016: “Every scientific poll we’ve encountered so far suggests that voters thought Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump in Monday night’s debate.”

After several Fox News hosts cited online opt-in surveys to suggest that Trump won the debate, Fox News’ vice president of public-opinion research, Dana Blanton, sent a memo to producers and the politics team reminding them that such polls “do not meet our editorial standards.”

In the memo — obtained by Business Insider — Blanton wrote that “online ‘polls’ like the one on Drudge, Time, etc. where people can opt-in or self-select … are really just for fun.”

True. That's the real problem here.
