In a vacuum, not sure mahomes is clear cut 1. He’s never not had elite offensive talent around him. What would he look like, say, in Cincinnati?

I think Mahomes is a beast, but I can kind of see what you're getting at. Not to mention the benefit of a very weak AFC in comparison to the tough NFC. He benefits a lot from Andy, but the other side of that is that Mahomes just finds a way to win in the craziest of ways. Still number one, but curious as to how long he can sustain his excellent level of play.

I can see this... his vision and mobility i think would still make him great in any system though/

    Mahomes
    Wentz
    Watson
    Lock

Naturally Lock could only be as high as 4th because of his limited sample size, but it's pretty clear he'll be number 1 on this list this time next year tbh

Which QB are we artificially excluding by setting age at 27 years?
    Dak: 15,778 @ 65.8%, 7.6 per att, 97+21 TD, 36 INT+31 FMB, 97.0 Rate
    Wentz: 14,191 @ 63.8%, 6.9 per att, 97+3 TD, 35 INT+48 FMB, 92.7 Rate

"Hater" is a term used by weak minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.

Starting QBs under 27 as of week 3 last season (best I could find). Order is based on QB rating in week 3, not ranking for this thread.

    Kyle Allen
    Deshaun Watson
    Patrick Mahomes
    Jacoby Brissett
    Mitchell Trubisky
    Teddy Bridgewater
    Daniel Jones
    Jameis Winston
    Gardner Minshew
    Carson Wentz
    Dak Prescott
    Marcus Mariota
    Mason Rudolph
    Josh Allen
    Jared Goff
    Kyler Murray
    Lamar Jackson
    Baker Mayfield
    Josh Rosen
    Luke Falk

For a number of years, as we watched Brady and Peyton Manning wage the war to end all wars against each other and Rodgers emerge as arguably the best-ever thrower of the football (until some guy named Mahomes came along) and Brees win his first Super Bowl, and so on, it felt like we were already living in the golden age of quarterbacking -- not that that was a problem.
    wut?

none really.. there was an article about all the top young QBS ABOUT A WEEK ago and they used 27 to keep wentz/dak in it which is fine because both are actually young and legit.
