Sooooo let's say there's a 2 week break. They just reschedule all the games missed or just skip them and pick back up wherever the schedule is and have a shortened season?

its probably gonna last for months because the virus is only going to spread and the nba just cant risk it after this.... think of all the people that gobert came in contact with over the last week... i feel like it will end up cancelled until next season

Who knows. Because you need to determine arena availability, city availability, travel. I’ve seen the quick option put out there of wait 2-4 weeks, and just go to the playoffs.

i just dont think its going to be possible to play this season... nba did this as soon as they heard but imagine how many people gobert was around over the last week and who those people then were around etc etc etc.... i think we will get baseball like mid season maybe but hockey and basketball will likely be lost seasons.

I saw that too. That's a terrible option imo. There are 5 teams still in play for the 8th spot out West, and still plenty of seeding to be determined.

They wont have a choice... we have next to no cases here. This will bomb out here soon like it is elsewhere... Id be shocked if there were any sports over the next 3-6 months. Its not just about sports but these players travel etc... imagine how many people gobert and employees infected?

Probably a 72 game season and maybe a short 1st round. Best of 5 Id say.
