I think this will be very good.I love that the characters are not typical of current comic book characters.They were originally loosely based on the Charlton superhero books and Charlton was not the most focused company so I like that ability to make it feel very fresh that Moore breathed into the Watchmen story yet the characters are almost recognisable.

Alan Moore's stuff is some of the best writing in comic books. I actually enjoy reading them to my kids when they were young. a lot of social and political commentary in his stuff that the HBO series copy from his original story. The Watchmen was great, the film was a little uneven but good. I am hoping that I can see the HBO series this weekend. Originally Posted by bigbangclock

It was solid. Not transcendent or anything. I liked a handful of the episodes and thought the rest were okay. The Hooded Justice origin story was pretty great though. I can't say the rest, besides maybe the ending, was all that memorable for me though. I don't a ton about the comics either, so that probably didn't help.
