He is talking about the one and only, pure trash: Ereck Flowers

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

averaged just under 4000 yds passing for 14 straight years (not including his first and last years in the league).....I'm not saying he was elite, but his stats and accomplishments still rise above meh in my book, and I'm no fan of him or the Giants
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

Legendary 2011 regular season. Two of the greatest throws in championship history. Two Superbowl MVPs (the 2011 game is one of the best ever, per PFF). The 2011 NFC title game in San Francisco is the stuff of legend--took hits like Rocky took em from Drago and kept popping back up. All time leaderboard for numerous stats. An NFL iron man and Walter Payton winner. Maker of some of the most iconic moments in the history of the sport.

He's going to the Hall. Get used to it.

Great career, made the most of it. Well done to him. Not a first ballot guy, but he will surely make it in second or third year? No way surely a 2 time Superbowl MVP doesn't get in on that alone.

Eli Manning set to announce his retirement

When your team gets a young franchise QB all you hope for is that he will win you a super bowl and have him be the guy for a long time.

The guy helped us Giant fans enjoy 2 unreal championships and was our iron man leader for over 15 years. And he did it as a consummate professional. Heís beloved in NY and by his former teammates and coaches.

I donít care about the nay sayers. Anyone would sign up for what Eli gave the Giants.

Anyone would sign up for 2 SB wins in 4 years. That's not the same thing as signing up for 14 years of mediocre QB play with 2 seasons of top 5ish play. I know this is just going up blow up into every Giants fan defending their guy, but the Giants had some very good teams held back because Eli wasn't a good enough. I've got nothing against him and he'll make the HoF based on last name and SB wins alone, but he couldn't typically carry a team the way great QBs can.

Will he make the Hall of Fame? Absolutely.

Does he deserve it? Tough call.
